"Embrace damp (or even wet hair), and go for a supersophisticated slick bun," says Markham. He recommends using a detangling spray first to prevent snarls and snags. Use a hard hold gel throughout all your hair, then brush your hair back into a tight ponytail and secure it with a hair tie. Wrap the ponytail around the base of your bun, tuck in the ends and secure everything with bobby pins.

"For short hair, try a headband braid," says Markham. "This dresses up a short style, while the natural texture achieved from your workout helps keep the braid intact." Create a deep side part in your hair, then separate a section of hair from ear to ear, he explains. Then, apply an anti-frizz serum to your hair and French braid it toward the opposite temple. Use a clear elastic band to tie it off, and pin it underneath your hair to hide the ends.
