We've seen overdone smoky eyes and black lipstick on everyone from Selena Gomez and Rihanna to models on Fashion Week runways. And you know what happens when celebrities and supermodels rock a look -- everyone starts wearing it in their everyday lives.

But gothic, witchy makeup can be too overwhelming for many faces -- and most situations, says Vadhera. Jet-black lips on casual Friday at the office? A little costumey. While heavy smoked-out eyes and lips are fun for special occasions, for everyday, this beauty trend is best left in 2015.

For shame! We were totally on the clumpy lash train in 2015, but according to the trend forecast, it's time to get off.

Twiggy-esque lashes rose to popularity this year thanks to runway looks and a slew of new clumpy lash mascaras. Of course, not everyone was on board -- Jessica Alba and Kylie Jenner have both openly expressed distaste for the spidery look.

The clumpy lash trend hit its peak over the summer, and as the year has gone by, we've seen less and less of it. By 2016, clumpy lashes will join frosted lipstick and orange self-tanner in the graveyard of departed beauty trends.

This isn't exactly a trend for us, but warn your dude: Man buns have become more overplayed than Adele's "Hello."

"Man buns seemed sexy and novel at first (Hey, Jared Leto!)," says Gafni, "but once they started selling clip-on man buns, the trend died hard."

In other words, we saw something we liked, went a little too far with it and now, less than a year later, the man bun is already washed-up. "Especially when you pair it with a trendy hipster beard," Gafni continues. "Then, it just looks like you're a trend victim -- or completely ungroomed."

The only thing that might save the man bun? These hot dudes.
