We have a soft spot for the Emmy Awards. It might have something to do with our (unhealthy) obsession with just about every television show airing this season -- "Scandal", "Homeland", "Breaking Bad", "Dexter", "New Girl", "Mindy Project", "Grey's Anatomy", "Modern Family" ... need we go on? Our morning-after office convos on why Olivia Pope needs to lend us her closet (a.s.a.p.), and how Jesse Pinkman sooo just needs to go ahead and give Walter White the axe, are the highlight of our day ... you know, right after beauty reporting and choosing the hottest nail polish colors for fall.

So you can imagine how seeing all our favorite TV personalities step out of character and onto the red carpet makes us giddy. Stalking their gorgeous hairstyles, flawless makeup, and super swanky red carpet gowns is the definition of Sunday Funday. So we'd like to give some superlatives to all those who made our ultimate best and worst lineup worthwhile.

Eyeing the Emmy's red carpet from first rollout, we saw some pretty spectacular looks that were a sight for trend tracking. With color choices that (thankfully) went beyond black and hairstyles that redefined the intricate up-do, there wasn't a dull moment.
