20,000 calories in ten minutes
Joey "Jaws" Chestnut set a world record Saturday after consuming 69 hot dogs in ten minutes at the annual Famous Nathan's Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest on New York's Coney Island. We did the math: at 290 calories a pop, Chestnut gobbled more than 20,000 calories ... in hot dogs ... in ten minutes. (And ladieeeez, we hear he's single!) Terrifying, but at the same time, it makes us feel better about the pints of ice cream we've killed in a single sitting. Source

Scary increase in female skin cancer rates

Tattoos without regrets
Still contemplating getting the fairy tat on your left ankle, but fear having it forever? The fashion-forward trendsetters in Japan are rocking a new tattoo trend you won't live to regret: tattoo tights. Just slip 'em on and you can wear Karl Lagerfeld's face on your calf all day and go back to being bare-skinned by bedtime, no commitment (or needles) required. (Source)
