Like the Milk Makeup Dab + Blend Applicator, the Makeupdrop has a bit of a learning curve. That said, once you get your technique down, it's worth it: It won't soak up any product so you'll find yourself using much less foundation and it's so easy to clean.
This one's pretty unique — the flocked texture is soft, almost like a stuffed animal. You can use liquid products with it but it's especially good with powders, be it loose, pressed or a powder foundation. You handwash it and it actually lasts quite a long time, making its $6 price tag an even better bargain.
With its marbled texture, have no doubt: This one's a beaut, but it's also got more than looks going for it. The foam is very dense and you'll love how velvety soft it feels on your face. The angled edges are great if you feel like contouring and the rounded end stipples on foundation like a dream.
