You should wear gray and mauve colors

You most likely have blue eyes and/or fair skin. The best shade for you is one that can really magnify the color of your iris while complementing your skin tone. Barose says if you have fair or light skin, you should "opt for soft pale taupe or pastel shades and avoid anything too purple or pink [or your eyes] can look bruised."

Shadow: Blue eyes are cool-toned, so they look great with taupey gray colors and rosy mauve colors. Geller says they also look great in beige-browns. Try Lancome Color Design Eye Brightening All-in-One 5 Shadow & Liner Palette in Mauve Cherie, $48.

Liner: "With blue eyes, I love using dark navy eyeliner," says Geller, who points out blue eyes can pull off blue eyeliner just fine -- you just want to wear a contrasting shade. Charcoals, dark grays, and peacock-colored blues are great options. The lighter your iris color, the darker your eyeliner should be in order to create a starker contrast. Try Maybelline New York Eye Studio Master Drama Cream Pencil in Sapphire Strength, $7.99.

Mascara: "When it comes to mascara, you're talking to somebody who's a full-fledged believer that black mascara is the icing on the cake," says Geller. But, she concedes, "as long as the base is dark then you can [top black mascara] with color." For blue eyes, try a dark navy/black mascara to finish off your look.
