Wear a Bold Lip Color
When you have a statement lip, you don't need much else in the way of makeup. You can skip eyeshadow and go very light on blush. Really, all you need to complete your look is a swipe of mascara and you're good to go. Choose a fresh lipstick shade like cherry red or bright pink. If you want, add a layer of clear lipgloss for extra shine.

Make a Morning Music Playlist
Make a "Morning Playlist" to listen to while you get ready, and make sure the songs add up to about 10 minutes. Listening to music is better than turning on the TV, which can be distracting. The playlist will get your blood pumping and makes you move faster. Plus, it's a great way to gauge time. You can plan on one song for your makeup, one for your hair, etc.
