Apply Your Deodorant at Night
When it comes to staying fresh, deodorant is your number one savior. To put it bluntly, you'll feel super gross without it. So make sure you use a long-lasting deodorant stick like Dove Go Sleeveless Soothing Chamomile Deodorant, $3.99.

Also, it might seem weird, but to get the most out of your deodorant, you should always apply it at night. This lets the deodorant soak into your skin and help fight odor the next day (but there's no harm in doing another swipe in the morning if you want).

Liven Up Your Hair With Dry Shampoo
If you haven't heard of dry shampoo before, you'll thank us later. This ingenious product is perfect for when you don't have time to shower. Instead of pulling your hair back into a greasy ponytail, simply spritz dry shampoo on your roots and it will instantly make it look like you have freshly washed hair.

Just make sure you hold the can 6 to 8 inches away and focus on the scalp and roots when spraying. You don't want to get too much on the length of your hair, because that will dry it out. And always use your fingers or a brush to work the product in, especially if you have dark hair, otherwise you might end up with a gray-ish cast on your hair.

And if you're worried about your hair sticking to your neck on a warm day, stash a few hair elastics and bobby pins in your bag. That way you can do a quick top knot, fishtail, or braid on the fly.

Battle Shine with Blotting Papers
Winter months leave your skin dry and flaky, but just because spring is here doesn't mean your skin issues are gone. Your face gets oily and greasy faster during warmer months, and this clogs pores and leads to breakouts.

You can start to combat shine by prepping your skin with a mattifying lotion and using oil-free moisturizers, sunscreen, and foundation. But of course, even those efforts don't always leave you looking matte all day. To fight mid-day greasiness, use a pack of oil blotting papers. Simply blot onto your face (rather than wiping, which will remove your makeup along with the oil) and then toss the used paper. It's a better option than powder, which can mix with sweat to clog pores and give your face a cake-y appearance.

Go for a Pretty Pink Pout
If you look bright and polished, you'll feel fresh, so another quick and easy fix is to go for a pretty pink lipstick, the brighter the better. This helps you look pulled together without having to pile on a lot of foundation or eyeshadow (which will just melt off by mid-day). Plus, pink is perfect for spring, especially after a winter of sporting red and plum shades.

Not into pink (or lipstick in general)? You can also try a swipe of brightly colored blue, green, or purple eyeliner to add some color to your face. Use a long-lasting liner and top it with powder shadow in the same shade for extra staying power.

Sure, winter has its perks: there are holidays, weekend skip trips, and peppermint hot chocolate. But those things get old after a while, and come February the season loses its magic. After months of scraping ice off our car windshields, we're totally ready for winter to be over and spring to finally arrive.

Luckily the new season is right around the corner and we can finally shed a layer (or two) and enjoy the warmer temps. But before we start celebrating the fact that we can pack away our wool coat in mothballs, there is one downside to warmer weather we've got to acknowledge: sweat.

Yup, that little five letter word that leaves us slick and smelly -- not exactly cute. But we're not going to let it bring us down. Instead, we've come up with our favorite tips and tricks for battling spring's warmer temperatures and staying fresh all day long.
