WATCH: Abercrombie & Fitch's Take on Nordic "Fox" Video

Do the A&F ad guys have a funny bone? Judging by this clip yes, yes they do
A&F
If you've been paying attention to what's been blowing up on the Internet of late, you've no doubt become aware of the growing sensation that is the Norwegian comedy duo of "Ylvis."

Their bizarrely endearing video, "The Fox," has clocked more than 51 million views and they're quickly becoming world wide sensations -- heck, they even booked a spot on the first week of Ellen Degeneres' 11th season.

Now, in what may perhaps be a play to garner some good publicity for a change, Abercrombie & Fitch has made a parody of "The Fox" and, surprise, it's pretty funny.

Not that a single bit of clever marketing fun will help us to forget that, on the whole, A&F is exclusionary and downright unfair in their hiring practices and that their CEO, Mike Jeffries, "doesn't want larger people shopping in his store, he wants thin and beautiful people." (According to Robin Lewis, author of The Robin Report.)

We also won't forget that Jefferies had no qualms about declaring that sex appeal is "almost everything. That's why we hire good-looking people in our stores. Because good-looking people attract other good-looking people, and we want to market to cool, good-looking people. We don't market to anyone other than that." Or that he made no bones about saying something as backasswards as; "In every school there are the cool and popular kids, and then there are the not-so-cool kids." And, that, "Candidly, we go after the cool kids. We go after the attractive all-American kid with a great attitude and a lot of friends. A lot of people don't belong [in our clothes], and they can't belong. Are we exclusionary? Absolutely."

Oh, heck no. We're still going to remember those things -- they're worth their weight in repugnant gold. But, that doesn't mean that we can't enjoy the video below for what it is. Right?
