The "Shazam for Fashion" App Is on Its Way

Plus Emmy Rossum's secret beauty obsession, Victoria Beckham's real feelings about the Spice Girls, and more of the top stories of the day

• Allow us to introduce you to the app that could forever change the way we shop for the clothes we covet on others. Style-Eyes uses high-quality image recognition technology to take an item in a photograph -- like, say, the sweet leather jacket you spotted in a street style shot -- and provide you with the details to buy it. Unfortunately, the "Shazam for fashion" isn't yet available in the US (why does Europe always get the best things first?), but it's only a matter of time... [Vogue UK]

• We're a pretty open-minded bunch, so it's a rare confession that makes us exclaim "TMI!" We aren't judging Emmy Rossum for her obsession with watching pimple-popping YouTube videos, (warning: this video link is a doozy) but we definitely can't say it's an activity we would enjoy partaking in. Um, ew. [Huffington Post]

• Say it ain't so, Posh! Victoria Beckham confessed in an interview that she didn't love being a part of the Spice Girls -- in fact, she "just wanted to be elsewhere." There she goes, ruining all of our fond preteen memories of the original girl power group. [The Cut]

• Lululemon has seen some serious publicity trouble this past year, first with the recall of their see-through yoga pants, then with founder Chip Wilson's interview declaring that "some bodies don't work for" his brand's pants because of "rubbing through the thighs." The latest announcement from the beloved yoga and lifestyle brand should bode well for the company: the very controversial Wilson will be stepping down at the end of the year. [Fashionista]
