As if we needed any more excuses for Sephora excursions, right? According to Allure, Sephora is seriously shaking up its rewards program — and we're pretty stoked about some of the updates.

Perhaps most exciting of all, there are now different point-earning tiers associated with the different Beauty Insider levels: VIB members will now receive 1.25 points for every dollar spent and Rouge members will get 1.5 (as a refresher, you qualify for VIB by spending a minimum of $350 per year, and Rouge if you spend $1000).

Sephora is also making changes to the Rewards Bazaar, by increasing the amount of rewards available at the 750-point level and above (which will include the addition of a few select full-size products). There's also a slight update to the birthday program — VIB and Rouge members will now be able to opt for 250 additional points instead of the standard birthday gift.

So you've probably noticed that most of the changes exclusively affect VIB and Rouge members. That said, as anyone who regularly frequents Sephora knows, it's distressingly easy to drop $350 in a calendar year. Godspeed, our beauty junkie friends.
