Revlon and Marchesa Have Reunited (And It Looks So Good)

The fashion house has collaborated with the makeup giant on a beauty tools collection
Last October, lucky fashionistas and makeup mavens got their mitts on limited edition Revlon by Marchesa 3-D Jewel Appliqués, an eight-piece collection of couture gown inspired artwork, perfect for creating easy, elegant nail art.

Now, Marchesa designers, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, whose incredible beading and color patterns have made them the darlings of the red carpet set, have re-teamed with the makeup company to bring us a second collection.

For this collaboration, the aptly titled "Red Carpet" collection, Revlon and Marchesa have created a limited-edition line of beauty tools including a starter brush kit, a manicure set, a compact mirror, full and mini tweezers and a box of nail files. Each item is available in one of three options; navy and white, black and gold or pink and black.

"We started by looking at all the various beauty tools that Revlon makes," said Georgina Chapman. "We knew that we wanted to bring an elegant femininity to this collection and ultimately decided that the three designs should be inspired by three dresses from our Spring/Summer 2014 runway show. We think the result is quite romantic with the three intricate lace patterns."

While the collection bowed exclusively on Gilt.com for a few days right before Christmas, it's just now wending its way into drugstores and mass retailers (like Target and Ultra) across the nation. The items range in price from $3.50 to $13.99, which should make bringing a little Marchesa into your life an affordable proposition.
