Orlando Bloom Opens Up About His Split From Miranda Kerr

Plus Kristen Chenowith (and Mary-Kate Olsen) gets a haircut, Jay Z's new fragrance, and more of the top stories of the day
• Could Orlando Bloom be any more amazing (and hot? He's very, very attractive, you know). Speaking to Katie Couric about his separation from supermodel Miranda Kerr after three years of marriage, he said, "We're a family. We're going to be in each other's lives for the rest of our lives. There's no question of that. For the sake of our son and everything else, we're going to support one another and love each other as parents to Flynn." Swoon. Major swoon. [Digital Spy]

• Holy pixie cut, Batman: Kristen Chenoweth looks abso-frickin-amazing with her new short pixie cut. Chenoweth got rid of her shoulder-length long 'bob and traded it in for a sleek maybe-Victoria-Beckham-inspired short 'do that we think perfectly suits the petite Broadway singer. Supposedly it's for a new film role, but we hope she keeps it. Stylebistro]

• But no worries, Mary-Kate Olsen has picked up the lob banner for all you fervent long bob fans. She debuted the haircut during a photo shoot for the twin's new fragrances, Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black and Nirvana White. Smell like Olsens! [Racked]

• Jay Z's plot for world domination just extended to the fragrance category. He launched a men's fragrance, and after going through literally 3,200 name suggestions, settled on Gold. It's "a layered blend of yellow ginger, white cardamom and grapefruit with a hint of blueberry." Blueberry? Really? It launches November 29. [UPI]

• World, is the baggy sock trend a thing we want? Because it's a thing that is happening. Apparently Japanese school girls are reviving a '90s trend of wearing baggy oversized socks all scrunched up around their ankles, because, "They ... became code of sorts for teenage promiscuity and all that it entailed. And they got so loose that teens were holding them up with special sock glue." Wait. Aren't scrunchy baggy socks just, oh, leg warmers? And what exactly is sock glue? So many questions! [The Cut]

• We want to go to there: The Lip Bar launched a roving lipstick truck, a mobile collection of lipsticks and glosses. Order off the menu -- like a food truck -- or have something custom whipped up for you by one of the Lip Bar's expert colorists. The project is still in the funding stages, but if they raise enough cash, expect the truck to go on a cross-country road trip, bringing awesome lipsticks to women around the nation. [Indie Go Go]
