By now you've probably seen the photo of Amy Woodruff, the yoga-toned mother who was snapped in a feet-up yoga pose while her young daughter suckled at her breast. The image has been making the rounds in the last few days, but it was actually snapped in 2011, when Woodruff and her daughter were living on a clothing-optional yoga retreat.

The pic was posted on Woodruff's blog, Daughter of the Sun, and, Woodruff says, despite concern from some, the vast majority of response has been positive.

Of the image, said Woodruff, "I was just doing my daily flow when the little sweet pea came to sneak a suckle. Papa had her out in the grass with him and she just couldn't resist! This happens all the time by the way," she added.

It's perfectly natural, argues Woodruff. "When a breast is out and baby is around, they are going to try and get it anyway they can! I have been blogging for years now and this photo was just a simple share of a beautiful captured moment."

After three years, Woodruff is now weaning her daughter off of breast-feeding. She's enjoyed the widespread response to the image, even if not all of it's been positive. "Women who didn't seem to enjoy breastfeeding or more of the conservative crowd thought it was the weirdest thing and just couldn't wrap their heads around it," she said. "I enjoyed hearing all sides of the spectrum as it reminded me that we are all different and if anything it may have opened the eyes and hearts for some who didn't think multitasking to that level was possible!
