Miley Takes The Leotard To A New, Terrible Place

Plus Blake Lively's fashion gaffe, Gwyneth on the 'gram, and more of the top stories of the day
• In between starting a "movement" and getting into a bizarre open letter war with Sinead O'Connor, Miley Cyrus took some time out to do a photo shoot with Terry Richardson yesterday. And let's just say, well, we've really never seen anything more uncomfortable looking than the leotard Miley Cyrus is wearing in these just-released snaps. Cut basically up to her armpits, the onesie redefines high-cut and overexposed. The shoot features exposed nipples, NSFW crotch shots and lots and lots of Miley's signature tongue-out, touching herself moves. We just don't know what to say anymore, except that leotard's gotta hurt. [Terry's Diary]

• Isaac Mizrahi how do we love thee? Enough to buy an extra set of tweezers, even though we don't really need 'em, just because your new collaboration with Tweezerman is so cute and colorful. Added points for the sweet irony of Mizrahi's own wildly untamed bushy brows. [Styelebistro]

• I would like to say that I'm way too smart and clever to need this Hermès scarf app, a primer offering a zillion different ways tie and fold a scarf, but I'm not. Scarves elude me. Bring it on. [Huffington Post]

• As she ramps up to launch her mysterious "lifestyle" company, Blake Lively's been taking time to hang out at a bunch of fashion shows with her good pal Anna Wintour. The girl's been the face of Chanel, but that doesn't mean she's any more clued in about how the fashion world's weird seasons work. Speaking to Vogue UK, she admitted she had no idea what clothes she'd be seeing this past fashion week. "It was actually really funny leading up to it because I was saying: 'I wonder what the collection is like, I wonder if it will be bright, or dark,' and someone said: 'Well it might be bright because it's spring,' and I said: 'No, it's fall,' and they said: 'It's spring!' And of course they're not showing fall collections in the fall!'" she said. "It's funny, as involved as I am in fashion and as much a part of my life as it is, I still thought: 'Oh!'" STARS! They're just (kinda, not really at all) like us. [Vogue UK]

• Rejoice! Our favorite goop-ster Gwyneth Paltrow is on Instagram now. Will we be enjoying photos of "a small child's hand holding a clump of dirt"? Or "a galley copy of Deepak Chopra's next book, which Gwyneth is offering edits on, natch"? Or perhaps, "her bathroom and beauty cabinet, featuring only the most exclusive natural products and plenty of French pharmacy finds (and marble sink and countertops)"? Let's hope so! [The Frisky]

• The Internet community Reddit is still a pretty male-dominated space, so it's no wonder that before and after photos of a woman with and without makeup would completely blow users minds. A woman posted a photo of her dramatic makeup transformation -- complete with some pretty badass contouring -- and Redditors began debating the relative merits of beauty products. Is it a neat tool for self-expression? Or a deceptive way for women to get one over on unsuspecting innocent men? Uh, we're going with the former. [Huffington Post]

• For real, is flossing really necessary? Five experts answer. [Live Science]
