• Angora fur, sourced from angora rabbits, is quickly moving off the market, thanks in large part to a film from PETA that shows the cruel way that the fur is obtained from rabbits. • Chanel "apologized" for the headdresses they included in their Metiers d'Art 2013/2014 collection after some noted that the collection wreaked of cultural appropriativeness. But it was more of a "we're sorry you feel that way" sorry, than an actual "sorry we screwed up." Chanel said "We deeply apologize if it has been misinterpreted or is seen as offensive as it was really meant to be a tribute to the beauty of craftsmanship." [Fashionista]
