Researchers who collected the wild berries in North and South Dakota found that they've got high levels of lycopene, an antioxidant that may lower the risk of certain types of cancers. Buffaloberries have more lycopene, say experts, than even tomatoes (which is a lot of lycopene.) It can't be long before Whole Foods begins selling buffaloberry muffins now, can it?
