Kat Dennings Calls Tilda Swinton Her Beauty Icon

Plus dissecting Gwyneth's Goop, the latest from Prada, and more of the top stories of the day
We love Kat Dennings. She's one of those actresses in the Emma Stone/Jennifer Lawrence category that you just know would be super fun to get a few drinks with. As if to further confirm that, she said the best thing ever about her own beauty role models. They are, by the way, Liv Tyler and Tilda Swinton: "Liv Tyler is one of the most beautiful women alive. We have similar hair, skin, and eye color, so I'm always looking to see what she's doing. I love strong women. Tilda Swinton could put an egg on her face and you'd be like, 'That bitch is so chic, and that egg looks amazing!'" We're totally stealing that line. [Glamour]

• OMG we are so frickin' excited! Vivienne Westwood, the first lady of punk rock fashion and all around rabble-rouser (basically), is writing a memoir. It'll be done in collaboration with British actor and writer Ian Kelly, and we'd pre-order it now if we could because it's going to be a doozy. [WWD]

• Please enjoy this completely Wes Anderson-ified Prada short film. It's called Castello Vavalcant and it stars Anderson favorite Jason Schwartzman. This term gets thrown around too often, but it's very Fellini-esque. [Slate]

• Someone had to do it: A complete ranking of Gwyneth Paltrow's goopiest holiday gifts in her Goop gift guide. She's got a lot of goop, you know. (Goop, goop, goop). [Gloss]

• The buffaloberry: An unfortunately named fruit with a lot of benefits. Researchers who collected the wild berries in North and South Dakota found that they've got high levels of lycopene, an antioxidant that may lower the risk of certain types of cancers. Buffaloberries have more lycopene, say experts, than even tomatoes (which is a lot of lycopene.) It can't be long before Whole Foods begins selling buffaloberry muffins now, can it? [Business Insider]

• Could you go a week without makeup? Let me quote the great Whitney Houston on this one: Hell to the nah. [Refinery29]
