The Clever New Answer to TSA's 3 Fl. Oz. Rule

If you've ever pitched a fit about tossing a pricey product, we promise: no more tears at a security screening
Listen, I know TSA exists for a reason. We don't want concealed weapons and explosives on airplanes. I get it. But asking me to stuff all of my beauty products into 3 oz. containers is a joke. When I fly, I inevitably toss a favorite lotion or foundation at the security checkpoint, either because I forget to check my makeup bag for over-sized products ... or because I'm secretly hoping that maaaybe this time they won't really mind me bringing six ounces of cleanser on board.

Of course, drugstores and stores like Sephora and Ulta sell travel-sized cosmetics, but for last-minute losers like me, there's a new solution: airport beauty kiosks selling TSA-friendly travel size products. 3FLoz.com is setting up vending machine kiosks in 25 major airports (including JFK in New York, DFW Dallas/Fort Worth, and McCarran in Las Vegas). The machines will stock grooming, personal care and beauty products from brands like Yes to Carrots, Burt's Bees, and Klorane, with a heavy emphasis on the oversized stuff that gets dumped during pre-screening and products we tend to forget to pack (think: toothpaste, sunscreen, hairspray).

Benefit Cosmetics is also opening makeup kiosks in airports around the country, including airports in New York City, Las Vegas, Austin, and Houston (and more on the way). The Glam Up & Away (could the name be any cuter?) kiosks feature 30 of their most popular products such as POREfessional pore-minimizing primer and They're Real mascara.
