Britney Spears took to Instagram to herald the release of her latest fragrance: Prerogative, "a fragrance for all."
According to a press release, the new unisex fragrance is a "seductive Oriental woody amber scent with an irresistible gourmand twist." Mysterious notes like "Latex Petals" and "Red Calla Lily" also factor in to the scent profile — color us intrigued.
Evidently named after Spears' 2004 cover of Bobby Brown's "My Prerogative," this new perfume is actually the 24th addition to the Britney Spears Fragrance family. Impressive, right? (Perhaps even
more impressive, the company had reportedly grossed
an estimated $1.5 billion as of 2012 — and who knows what heights that figure has soared to now, six years later).
The new unisex fragrance will retail for $52 and will hit Walmart this month (indeed, it's
already flying off the shelves at some locations). It will additionally be available at Kohl's online and in stores beginning in August.
