Get Beautiful Bright Eyes the Morning of your Wedding

Nobody wants dark circles or red eye on their big day. Here's how to get sparkling, pretty eyes the morning of your wedding
We all know that old (and semi-cheesy) saying: "Your eyes are the window to your soul." And sure, it's a tad corny, but there's also some truth there. If you're feeling exhausted or stressed, your eyes are a dead giveaway.

And on the morning of your wedding, you definitely want your eyes to be sparkly and bright. But chances are you were up all night worrying that the flowers won't arrive or your fiancé's wildcard groomsman will show up tipsy. And, of course, it's an emotional day, so it doesn't take much for you to tear up, making your eyes even redder. So avoid puffiness and dark circles with our top three tips for getting the prettiest eyes on your wedding day.

Store your de-puffing product in the fridge

Even before you get to the concealer step, make sure you use a de-puffing product like Clinique All About Eyes De-Puffing Massage, $28. But the key is to store it in the fridge the night before. This will create a cooling effect and will make all the difference in getting rid of puffiness that makes you look tired.

Offset red eye with a nude liner

If you wake up on the morning of your wedding with bloodshot eyes, don't panic. Simply line them with a nude liner, like Paula Dorf Baby Eyes Liner, $20. This will combat redness and make them look well-rested and bright.

Use a waterproof -- not water-resistant -- mascara

You definitely don't want raccoon eyes as you're saying your vows, so make sure you have a great waterproof mascara. You want to make sure your mascara is waterproof, and not just water-resistant. Waterproof is stronger and will stand up to tears a lot better. One of the best out there is Urban Decay Cannonball Ultra Waterproof Mascara, $20.
