Haylie Duff Shares Her DIY Approach to Flawless Skin

Discover how this celeb's all-natural approach to beauty gives her a radiant complexion
When you're a celebrity in Hollywood, it's pretty much an unspoken rule that you have flawless skin (high-definition cameras demand it). While many A-listers rely on lasers, peels and high-end skin care products, actress, singer and songwriter Haylie Duff has a different skin-care philosophy. "I have a beauty from the inside out approach," reveals Duff, who runs The Real Girl's Kitchen food blog. "I focus on putting good things into my body and hope it shines through on the outside." It does. Her complexion, she says, is a result of her clean diet and nightly face-washing routine.

Given her natural approach to beauty, it should come as no surprise that Duff recently partnered with all-natural beauty brand, Burt's Bees, for their launch of three new protein powders, Burt's Bees Daily Protein, Burt's Bees Protein + Gut Health with Probiotics and Burt's Bees Protein + Healthy Radiance with Antioxidant Vitamins A, C, & E. In true Burt's Bees fashion, the protein powders are about as clean as you can get; they're plant-based, organic, and GMO-free. "Some of my first makeup products were Burt's Bees, and I've been familiar with the brand for so long," Duff says. "I trusted them to give me great products for my skin and body, so I know these products are good for me on the inside too."

While the celeb may eat clean a majority of the time, she admits her southern upbringing leaves her prone to extra-shameless cheat meals. "My general outlook with food is balance and having a healthy diet I can maintain all the time," Duff says. "So of course I enjoy 'naughty' food too. If I'm going to indulge, my go-to is definitely fried chicken." She's so honest and human. We love you for it, Haylie.
