One Beauty Product I'll Pass On [VIDEO]
I'm always eager to find the latest and greatest beauty products. Age-defying serums, lash-extending mascaras, skin-perfecting potions -- you name it, I'm usually game for giving it a go.

Usually.

Yesterday I caught wind of a new product that's soon heading to market and I, despite my typically adventurous nature, will be heading in the opposite direction. Two words: Swallowable perfume.

Yes. You read that correctly. Evidently a Dutch artist and a synthetic biologist thought that what the world really needs is an ingestible capsule that releases fragrance from the inside out.

I swear I'm not making this up.

And, to prove it, I quote the manufacturer: "Swallowable Parfum is essentially a capsule containing synthetic fragrant lipid molecules that mimic the structure of the fat molecules naturally found in the body. When those lipids get metabolized by the body's enzymes, fragrant molecules are released and excreted through the skin's surface through perspiration. The skin, then, serves as an atomizer for the tiny droplets of fragrance that are left behind, and the strength of the resulting scent is determined by the individual's acclimatization to temperature, stress, exercise, or sexual arousal."

Don't believe me? Here's a video to watch that explains more.

So, what about you? Are you more game than I? Would you pop a perfume pill?
