Exceptional Eve!

Much like Liz Earle, Eve Loom believes in using a pure muslin cloth to cleanse skin (I love that; the gentle fibers exfoliate in the most tender way while you use it). With the sleek, slick white packaging, I thought the cleanser would be puffs of white soufflé and was a little surprised that it looked more like Vick's VapoRub for colds. That's because this little powerhouse of a cleanser uses ...read moreclove oil (a natural antiseptic for clear skin), eucalyptus oil to rid skin of toxins, Egyptian chamomile oil (to soften and sooth), cocoa butter (a wonderful emollient), and hops oils to tone skin. It's a rich, lush formula. Work in gently with the muslin in little circles (I suggest using upward motions on your skin always rather than downward). When you rinse, skin feel as clean as if you used Ivory Soap and water but is hydrated and velvety. I generally like a foaming cleanser, but this is exceptional.

Luxurious Cleanser

This cleanser has a very rich and thick consistency that turns milky white when it touches water. It smells like ginger (very herby scent) to me. Cleans well but does not remove all my makeup, especially between the lashes it doesn't really reach. It does not strip the skin of moisture and feels very hydrating. I have oily/combination type of skin. works ok but not exceptional.

Best cleanser after Laser treatment

I recently go through Fraxel Laser and looking for a gentle, moisturizing and non-comedogenic cleanser for my face. The first morning after laser, I used DDF gentle cleanser which causes milia all over my face. Maybe my milia is because of laser surfacing but I really don't want to test it at the moment. All my red, dry, cracking skin turn into a smooth surface I hae not seen in years. Unfortunetely the price is so high, that is the only con. I suggest everyone to give it a try and if you can afford it, just go for it. By the way, i am 40, have dry combination skin with acne scars from my youth. Maybe not the best option for younger, oily skin.

EVE LOM CLEANSER

I found this an acceptable cleanser but not the best I have ever used. I feel like my skin is a little tight and greasy after using it. I have only been using it for a few days, but if something does not improve after my sample runs out, I will not be running out to buy the full size.

I have combination skin and am used to using either products made under request by my dermatologist or good quality cleansers, such as Avene, Shu Uemura and others. I bought the Starter Collection and already regret not buying the full version of the cleanser.

gold in a tub

if u are going to splurge on an item this is it ladies...it's formulated with mineral oils.. considered to the safest, non irritating and effective ingredients ever found
