Lots of Good Qualities

I'm a total Charlotte Tilbury stan. And while I liked this foundation, I just didn't love it as much as I've loved other CT products. It is incredibly lightweight. It's initially a little on the sheer side, but it's buildable. The finish is nice. Not too matte, not too luminous. I don't know. It's got a lot of good qualities, but it just didn't grab me like other foundations.

Your skin but better

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation goes on sheer and feels completely weightless on skin. It's definitely a your skin but better foundation. It's buildable but definitely not full coverage. I would say medium to light. This works likes a dream on my dry, 40-ish skin. Doesn't crease in fine lines or accentuate pores. Very comfortable and wearable, but if you're looking for flawless, full coverage, this ain't your baby.

Sheer, foundation for a no makeup, makeup look

I was a little bit disappointed as I was hoping this would "magically" leave me flawless. It's a bit of a lighter coverage than I'm used to, which is good when my skin is behaving or I have a very strong concealer underneath. It does feel nice on the skin and does not settle into fine lines.

Holy Grail Foundation

This is hands down the best foundation I have ever bought! It's full coverage, but looks so natural! It's not too matte, but it definitely doesn't shine. People can't tell whether I'm wearing foundation or not. I am also a hard shade to match. I wear a 9 and I'm a MAC NW 45, a Cover Fx G 80, a Too Faced Born This Way Mocha, a Tarte Tan Deep Honey and an Urban Decay All Nighter 8-9. I have tried all these foundations, also Kat VonD, and recently Rihanna's Fenty Beauty foundation. This is by far the best. It's got great pigmentation, spreads on easily (I use a brush) and it looks as if I'm not wearing anything but moisturizer. It's full coverage with just one pump, it's just gorgeous! I don't even need concealer, because ALL my skin is even and luminous. It's a bit more expensive, but I think it's worth it
