Really long lashes.....

I've never heard about this before until my sister bought it for me on Christmas. Then I started seeing it everywhere and the hypes about it. It makes my lashes look extremely thick and long although this is not a substitute for falsies. My lashes looked really clumpy and spidery after applying 2 coats of this and the first coat didn't thicken enough. Because of the fibers in this, it pokes my eye...read mores a lot and irritates them so I hardly ever reach for this. You have to use this with a thin layer of your own mascara first before applying this. I find that working with a more watery mascara helps to tone down the clump factor.

Itchy

I became a Younique "rep" when I read all the awesome reviews about the cosmetics and especially this mascara. Of course I wasn't going to sell it until I tried it firsthand. I can't endorse something I don't believe in. First time I tried this - I didn't see much except clumps of fibers on my eye lashes. Then they started to itch. Later in the day I had "fibers" under my eyes and all over my ...read morecheeks. Second time I tried this - I watched a video of how other people were using it and I tried it that way. Looked a little better, but soon my eyes began to itch. Third time I tried this - I did it my own way and it looked pretty good. My eye lashes still looked a little heavy, but much better. Then they started to itch. I threw it away after that. I'm happy for those that use this without any reaction or issues with it, but I feel like the "process: of how to use this and the formula needs major improvement. Walking around with fibers all over your face isn't a good look and it's a bit unnerving when you think about all those loose fibers getting into your eyes. If you have sensitive eyes, I don't recommend this at all.

3D Fiber Lash Mascara

I really wanted to like this mascara. I bought it from my cousin who is a presenter. I'm an Avon Rep so I figured I would try it out and compare it to my favorite. First, you need to go really slow applying the product. The first generation, which is what I ordered, had you applying any "cheap" mascara first. Then a layer of the gel...followed by the fibers. That right there is already 3 steps inv...read moreolving 3 tubes of product. At $29.00 I think it's really overpriced. I know there has been at least a 2nd version of the 3D released which eliminates the layer of "cheap" mascara step. I personally get a much better result from my $9.00 Avon Super Extend Winged Out mascara. It separates just as good as the gel from the 3D does. And if I apply my Avon lash conditioner primer first I get a nice volumizing effect. I can always get my mascara on sale for $5.99 and I just can't see spending almost 4 times that on the 3D. That being said, mascara is a very personal beauty product. Nearly as personal as a fragrance. I think that is why companies like Avon and even drug store brands have a lot of formulas to choose from. We all like something different or want a different look on a particular day. I'm not slamming the product, just sharing my honest review. I would wear the gel alone. The fibers are just too unpredictable and I have to pinch them down on the brush a bit so too many don't transfer or fall onto my cheeks.

Long overdue

I subscribe to Total Beauty, am a Younique Presenter, and this is the first time Younique has ever been mentioned. Our 3D Mascara is the bomb, and since I've been using it, I refuse to wear any other. That being said, it retails at $29.00, and though copycats can be found on Amazon for less, that's exactly what it is...a copycat. In order to get the Moodstruck lashes, you must order through a presenter like myself.
