Had pretty high hopes....

When I finally received a $15 off discount from Sephora after 8 years of being a beauty member, I decided to splurge on this. Mainly because EVERYONE on YouTube raves about this baby. I like having the versatility of the colors which really works well for fair to dark skin tones. The contour shade on the bottom left is really cool tone to create the right shadow for fair ladies. The middle contour...read more shade is good to create a bronze effect since it's more warmer tone. The peach highlight is good for darker skin women (but I cannot utilize it because I cannot pull it off on my NC25 skin tone without looking orange) and the darkest contour color in the palette is good for darker skin as well. The only thing I absolutely love is the banana shade. It highlights well without looking too made up. I like how this contour palette didn't have a lot of fallout but still had decent pigmentation. I was expecting this palette to be really intense like everyone mentioned but it was sort of lackluster in that department especially compared to my Lorac contour palette. Even if I tap my brush in here, I didn't really get much color on my brush. I must have gotten a dud or something or maybe it just didn't sit well on my skin. I didn't find this to be that blendable. Every time I tried to blend this out or build it up, it looks super splotchy on my face. I gave this so many tries, hoping to love it as much as everyone else but the end results always leave me disappointed and splotchy. Definitely do not feel beautiful wearing this.

A Contour Palette for Makeup Pros

This contour palette, which comes with three contour powder shades and three matte highlight shades, would be a great tool for the makeup pro or someone who is crazy for contouring. My contouring needs are a little simpler, so this was a little too much product than I needed.

Good contour kit

This was a solid contour kit. I loved that she had so many shades to accommodate for all different skin types, and the application was easy and smooth. She also has step by step instructions for us newbies, and they're really easy to follow. However, I feel like other contour kits have given me more dramatic results.

Endless Looks

With 6 shades, this product provides lots of variety for skin tones, so you might not use them all...I was originally intimated by the darker shades, but they blended away and weren't as pigmented as I expected. Not sure if I like the creme as much as liquids for contouring, but it definitely helps with blendability. The recommended KVD contour brush works really well with this product though!

Blend-able Contouring Palette

Makeup these days seem to be about contouring and highlighting so, I hope someone will find this helpful before purchasing a new palette. The packaging of the product is nice. I also have a lot of red in my skin, so the bottom colors tend to make the red more pronounced. I wouldn't recommend this product to ladies with rosacea or redness in their skin, as well as someone with a light skin tone. However, I would recommend this to beginners of highlight and contouring. I'd also recommend it to anyone with a nude to beige skin tone. Overall, the product does what it should and is forgiving of mistakes.
