A "baby" primer!

This is an okay primer. It is fragrance free (yaaaay!) and has no tint (clear); it is the traditional silicon primer. I think this would be a great primer for someone new to primers. It does a decent job, but it doesn't go above and beyond that. Some areas that I was a bit disappointed in are: no oil control (there is no claim for this, but often folks with larger pores have oilier skin, so this w...read moreould have been a nice touch!), no real pore "filling" (even when stippling and tapping into the pores) and no real longevity from my foundation as a result of this primer. Basically, what it does is that it smooths out the skin and improves texture. It "blurs" some of the imperfections and makes it easier to apply foundation; however, any good moisturizer can help in this area also. I would recommend as a decent primer, but there are other "workhorses" out there that will deliver a bit more for near the same budget.

Impressive Pore Filler

There seems to be many great drugstore primers on the market nowadays and this one is no exception. After cleansing skin, and before applying my foundation I dabbed a pea- sized amount on my tea zone, focusing on my nose and cheeks where my pores tend to be the most noticeable and immediately I noticed the skin felt tightened. I recommend waiting a few minutes after applying this product before putting on foundation to make sure its fully dried and settled into your skin otherwise I noticed it can mix with the foundation rather than lay underneath as a base. But my pores defiantly appeared less noticeable and overall my makeup looked more seamless. I recommend giving this a try. It's a good dupe for Benefit's Pore filler which is three times the price of this.

Bang for your buck!

No, this is not a high-end primer. Yes, this is a 10 (considering it's $5). I took before and after photos when I tried this product to really see if there was a noticeable difference. The product glides on and leaves a silky/powdery finish. What I was most impressed with, however, was the reduction in redness. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and in 10 seconds, there was a dramatic change. My s...read morekin was still far from perfect and I still needed to wear foundation, but if you have good skin, you could use this and skip foundation. I was impressed. I haven't had problems with breaking out from this product (not anymore than usual). I definitely was able to use less foundation, partially because my skin was not as red or blotchy after using it, partially because it helped my foundation spread over my skin so well. There are definitely better, higher-end products out there, but this is a great, low-investment buy -- especially if you tend to skip primer.

Ehhhh

I was excited to try this and was disappointed honestly. It feels smoothing at first but it is almost yoo greasey/much silicone and makeup doesn't stick like I want. It has good intentions lol but it just doesn't do much for me

Smooth and sensational!

I got this product to replace my Hourglass Veil Primer since it was cheaper. It did NOT disappoint!!! It creates a smooth canvas on my face, which can be sticky after applying moisturizer and my makeup glides well because of it. I took out 2 stars however, because it didn't hold my makeup long enough to last the day, but for the price, it's still a good primer!

Smoothes the skin, but not much more

Smoothes the skin, glides on easily, sets a base. Pore reduction not too apparent. Prefer high end primer.

Hmm

After reading reviews of this primer, I was eager to try it. However I was disappointed with the result of this on my skin. I dont see a change in the filling of my pores at all, it does make my skin feel smoother and the foundation go on better, but my pores are still visible! Its good because it is fragrance free and does leave your skin feeling satiny, but apart from that it is average.

It works

It's good quality primer with nice effect on face. The minus is that primer without antioxidants. But the price is very affordable and can't contain skin care components

The price is right, but......

I had high hopes for this product because Maybelline brand is usually very good. I liked the way it felt when I put it on and enjoyed the feel of it on my skin. Then, when I was finished doing my make up, what did I see? Pores all over my face, very unattractive. I tried it again, several times but I could never get the pores not to show back up,

My go to primer!

I was in Rite- Aid looking for a good primer but watching some Youtube videos I constantly heard "Baby Skin". A whole lot of people were saying it's better than most high end primers so I decided to give it a chance. At first I thought it would have a pigment (maybe tan or yellow) but it was actually clear! This is amazing because my skin is constantly changing because of Sun so color would be bad...read more. The first time I put it on I focused mainly on my cheek area were my pores are the worst and it instantly looked like clear skin! Something else amazing is that a tiny pea sized amount can "cream" or cover your areas with just that and also that I have been using it everyday and has about 1/3 left. I find that the only con about this primer is that it isn't very good for oily skin and/or it makes your skin oily. Other than, I take it everywhere I go and I definitely recommend it to everyone unless you have already oily skin.
