Not waterproof....
I find myself reaching for this often. It's creamy but not too creamy to the point where I have no control over it. It's perfect for applying in the car when I don't have time to do my makeup at home but can do it when I'm sitting in the passenger seat while someone is driving. Love, Love, Love
Before I even say anything about this eyeliner, I recommend everyone to go out and buy it right now! It's that good! I am very surprised I am even saying this about a drugstore liner, but it's one of the best I've tried. The formula is so creamy, so emollient, applies so smoothly, and lasts for so long. I seriously believe this eyeliner should cost way more than what I paid, because the only other eyeliners I can use to describe the texture with are ones made by Makeup Forever and Urban Decay. Plus, they come in so many pretty colors! Every shade I've tried apply just as beautifully and last for hours on my oily lids without smearing or fading, or disappearing in general. I use the shade Nude for the waking up the eyes by applying in the waterline (but it does tend to fade by the third hour, which may call for reapplication). I also have not experienced any breakage with this eyeliner, which I find is sometimes the case if the pencil is just too creamy to hold itself up during application. Sharpening this eyeliner also creates a nice, sharp point for when I need precision in my lines! Seriously, I can not recommend this eyeliner enough, especially to those who are lovers of UD's eye pencils or MUFE's Aqua Eyes. This pencil by Rimmel rings in at a fraction of the price, and can really compete with its amazing formula! These Really Last!!
I bought these new eyeliners in shades Nude and Taupe, mostly because both shades are hard to find cheaply. I was honestly impressed with the lasting power of both. I use the Nude to line my waterline and make me look more awake (in the mornings, I need all the help I can get! LOL) and it works perfect for that, shade is equivilent to high ends ones. Sexy Color, Slightly Smudgy Formula
I loved this initially ~ the smoothness, the creaminess of it was just so exciting for this liner lover. But then it sort of, well....fell flat. I noticed smudging in the outer corners of my eyes after a couple hours. But the actual liner on my lid, once applied, absolutely would not budge....not even when I'd wanted to smudge it out a bit! It says waterproof, but obviously it's not skin-oil pro...read moreof. It's also very chunky and hard to sharpen it into a fine point that stays fine ~ it's so creamy, the minute it touches your warm skin, the point wears down. So, in summary: gorgeous color (black), feels good going on, limited staying power, need constant sharpening for a thin line application so the pencil itself wears down fast. Nice Color But Not Long-Lasting
I have the "Deep Blue" shade of this eyeliner which is a rich navy that when first applying, looks amazing. The pencil is smooth and goes on easily. I can see this specific blue shade looking especially lovely with brown eyes. Best Smoky Liner Ever!!!
I have to say that this drugstore brand liner even outdoes Stila's smudge sticks. Smoothly lines eyes, creamy yet waterproof texture, and rich color. You can use it as waterline eyeliner, over the lids as a pencil liner, or even to create a smoky eye by smudging it out with a blending brush; be sure to blend it immediately though because within 10-15 seconds it will become budge-proof. I don't kno...read morew why I didn't find this before, I could have saved so much money instead of investing in so many other brands that either didn't last, or weren't as smooth. This might be a great dupe for Urban Decay 24/7 pencils that cost about $18 as compared to this one for $3-4! For those of you saying that it has a smudgy formula, look for Rimmel SpecialEyes Eye Liner Pencil. I'm not an advertiser for Rimmel or anything, but it's just another product of which I'm a big fan! In conclusion, this liner is very versatile, is truly waterproof, has a beautiful formula, and all in a great budget! Not Florida-Proof
I live in Florida, so I've learned to use all waterproof makeup to fight against the humidity. I'm always on the lookout for a great water-proof eyeliner. I was super stoked about this one. It went on smoothly, and the color was fantastic. It was very gentle on the waterline. Had high hopes .. was disapointed.
I bought this once I saw the deep dark color and the key " waterproof" statement. It may not come off easily with water but it sure does smear/run quickly.
