Smell amazing, remove makeup, and great price

I have used Pond's products (mostly the cold cream) and absolutely love them. I found the Luminous Clean line some time ago and was first drawn to the cream cleanser. I have purchased the cleansing cloths and finally decided to review them. I love the fact that they are such a great deal at the drugstore or Target. The pack comes with 30 towelettes however there was a bonus and it came with 5 additional towelettes in a small package for travel. I'll be using those this weekend while I travel. Anyways, the smell is so pleasant; very feminine and clean smelling so the name is very fitting. The towelettes themselves have little grooves in them which I suppose is to penetrate the skin and really get in there and remove the dirt. They are very gentle on my skin and don't burn like some cleansing cloths I've used have and really get the dirt and makeup off my face. I normally use cloths before I use my Clarisonic to just have less makeup that gets on my brushhead after and these take most of the makeup off. Also, these are great for keeping in your gym bag after a work out if you are going somewhere directly after and don't want to look all sweaty and red. One big thing I noticed going along with the burning I've felt with some cloths is when I am using them around my eye area (I wear contacts), they do not burn or cause my eye area to feel inflamed or uncomfortable; many products claim to be safe for contact lens wearers and are not! These wipes are some of my favorite cleansing wipes that I've tried along with Neutrogena and Aveeno. For the price and quality, I will continue to repurchase them.

Luminous Clean Towelettes

I just bought these and for slightly over $4, they were a steal. They smell nice, and left my skin SO soft and smooth, which has never happened with any make-up removing wipe in history. My only problem with these is that, many hours after removing my make-up, as I was getting ready for bed, I found some make-up still on my face. I wasn't wearing a lot to begin with, and when you don't wear a lot ...read moreyou do expect the wipes to get all of it in one shot. I broke out the Clarisonic and eliminated the problem, which only took me a minute, but these immediately lost some points for not getting every bit off. The following morning there was some slight liner residue under my eyes which happens with even the best make-up removers, especially if you line the upper inner rims. Otherwise, I think these are pretty great and they are definitely going to replace my previous brand.

Love Pond's Towelettes, but These Aren't My Fave

I love all of the Pond's towelettes and have used the purple (lavendar), blue (normal) and yellow (citrus). These aren't really my favorite as I'm not sure that they remove make up well or leave my skin feeling as clean and soft as the others. If I hadn't tried the others (citrus is my favorite), then maybe I'd give a higher rating but these are just good. They are much better than other brands, but I don't notice any brightening. These are still not a waste of money.

Good Value

This is a pretty good value. They smell a bit strong but they remove makeup well. Sometimes, when Im too lazy to really wash my face, I use one or two of these. Afterwards, my face feels clean but not stripped. So far these wipes haven't caused any breakouts either.

Great Makeup Remover

I think this is a great makeup removing product, but definitely nothing to write home about, as on occasion I still find myself wiping little bits of makeup off (but I think that's fairly typical with makeup removing wipes). It does do a good job of cleansing the skin, and sometimes a little too well. Luckily, I use a moisturizer at night anyways, but it can leave you feeling a bit dry if you don't. Would I recommend? Yes. Is it amazing? Nah.

Best wipes ever!

I've used all kinds of wipes-- cheap and expensive, sensitive skin, anti aging, exfoliating, all natural-- but I've never been so impressed with a wipe. It doesn't dry out your skin, or leave it too moisturized, or leave a residue, or irritate my skin in any way. It just leaves my skin and (literally) baby soft. That may be ...read moretrue, but I'm more impressed with the mica, which is a reflective mineral that leaves your skin beautifully radiant. When I first bought these, I never wanted to use cleanser because I loved the luminous, even toned look it gave me (then I bought the matching cleanser). I even put a few in little baggies to give out to friends I love these so much!
