I Expected More

I surely wasn't impressed. The coverage was buildable, but the colors were somewhat flat. Not only were they not very dimensional, but they seem to oxidize quite a bit. What may have looked good on my skin to begin with had turned either muddy or orange in just a few short hours. It did not stay on well either. I will say that it does blend well but that is the same to say with many loose powders. No pizzazz here.

Gimmick Product

I used bare minerals for a few months hoping to achieve coverage as well as healthier skin and byt the end of those three months I can say I'd never by this again. First off the 'mineral' thing is a gimmick and my skin was not imporved at all by how supposedly healthy it is for you compared to other non-mineral foundations. Secondly, I was sixteen when I tried this and this stuff aged my skin ten...read more years. It settles into fine lines and makes your skin look tired. I also recall I had a hard time finding a color that matched me; a problem I've never had before or after that. And to top it has zero coverage power. I was using it primarily to cover up acne scars and belmishes and it didn't work at all. Don't be fooled by their advertisements or infomercials this stuff is plain powder in fancy packaging.

LOVE IT!

I suffer from very bad acne and found bare minerals at my dermatologist's office. I only tried it because I received a discount from my doctor for doing so. I am so glad I did because I love it!! It has greatly improved my acne and made me feel more confident! The makeup is super light. I didn't realize how heavy other makeups were until I tried this. Very dull

The matte formula leaves skin looking ashy and dull. Aged. It doesn't blend as well as the original formula and just leaves skin looking like it needs a good scrubbing. This formula also doesn't help skin stay matte, so there no oil control help. It also leaves skin feeling dry and heavy, unlike the original formula. Not sure how it won an award with only four and a half stars.

Don't trust it

Worst foundation . Zero coverage . Make you pores look huge . Makes you look ashy. When I first got it a few years ago I loved it but now I absolutely hate it. They changed the formula or something because its not the same. Not to mention the primer sucks. Don't buy.

My skin has never looked clearer

This stuff works! The matte finish has a no shine, no shimmer or dewy-ness look. It's fantastic for any skin type and despite it's obvious powder/mineral appeal, it goes on softly looking creaming and covering effortlessly. It has no scent and provides a nice light SPF. If you have dry skin you might not like this as much, it doesn't make you look Hydrated. However for oily or combo skin, it dimi...read morenishes that oily finish or shine. I wear this when I go out to an event or to work. What's even better about this product is that it cleared me out! Having had cystic acne I've tried everything. This covers, and in a year my skin has never looked better. Now everyone says "wow what great skin!" Not "you're makeup looks so good today!" And for the penny-pinchers out there, this $27 foundation has a shelf life of up to a year after its been opened. It lasts me about 6-8 months and I wear full coverage! Can you say the same thing about your Liquid foundations out there?
