Just awful!

Dandruff, Psoriasis, flakes, whatever you choose to call them seem to be different for everyone as far as treatment goes. I scoped out my next dandruff shampoo by reading a ton of reviews, and even though this shampoo had 'em, it was awful for me. It actually made my flakes WORSE. This Clear...read more shampoo has the main ingredient as Head & Shoulders, so if you have had good luck with that, this will probably work for you as well. It had been years since I used H & S. The only reason I didn't give it a lower score is because it has a lot of good points; nice fragrance, great lather, nice bottle - ease of use in the shower, after all, it pretty much is a "sexier" version of H & S based on the fragrance and the branding on the bottle. BUT it took some really small, powdery flakes and irritated my scalp enough that I ended up getting CHUNKS of flakes; part of my scalp actually bled. For that reason, I would probably never buy again. The shampoo does not say to "leave on" for any real length of time; however, I did come across an article by the Mayo Clinic that recommends 5 minutes. I will try that and update the review if it seems to work.

Great Product

I am constantly looking for the perfect shampoo and though I will start by saying that drug store shampoos and conditioners usually seem to work better on my hair rather than the expensive salon brands (though I continue to try them all)! Pros -smells great, like apples -got rid of dry scalp/flakes -left my hair shinier than usual -left my hair very soft Cons -After 2 weeks of using, ...read moreI can say that my hair did have a little build up as the shampoo and conditioner are kind of light and dont give that squeaky clean feeling (but your hair isn't supposed to really squeak). So I definitely had to have another shampoo on hand to use every 2-3 weeks in between this one. I also like to use a deep conditioner every now and then as a personal preference. Conclusion: I love this product as an every day or every other day item and would definitely buy it again. However, 2 stars off because I need another shampoo/conditioner every now and then to really "clean" my hair in betwee.

Yuck!

I have to say I was very sad when I used this shampoo. Was excited when I got it and just after my first shampoo and conditioner I knew I needed to get a new set. My felt dirty after washing it, and my scalp was itchy and dry. Will never use this again.

Disappointed.....

I must say i was pretty disappointed with this shampoo... I had tried other anti-dandruff shampoos in the past, none of which i had any success with (especially Head & Shoulders-HORRIBLE) .... but after doing some homework I came across this procuct, which was getting some pretty rav reviews, and decided 2 see what the hype was about.... So its been about a week now n i have even worse dandruff th...read morean b4! My flakes are even more noticable! I thought maybe it was jus me or i wasnt using it right until i read others reviews who had the exact same problem as me! ... I do have to agree though that it does have some pro's ... the smell is awesome! my bf even mentioned how good it smelled! lol.... n i did notice a decrease in how itchy my scalp felt, which was a big relief.... I also have very sensitive skin and most anti-dandruff shampoos used 2 irritate my skin, making my skin n scalp burn n turn red and sometimes breakout, but this was really gentle... it didnt seem to irritate my skin at all.... I might still use this for another few weeks , ive heard that with some anti-dandruff shampoos it takes about 4 weeks to really see results... so ill keep my fingers crossed! :)
