It's ok.

It's ok, I would definitely expect more from Burt Bee's. The formula is very light and watery for lotion and and it smells like medicine when first applied but then it smells wonderful after it has dried. Moisturizing? A little. For regular day usage, but not if you have super dry skin.

Gud grief!!!

While I love the fresh, clean, not to sweet fragrance, I just cannot recommend this body lotion. I got a sample. On application it kind of pills. It is difficut to rub in and feels slimey and sticky--very odd texture. It remains waxy feeling and my hands still felt dry. The main reason I do not like this product is the ingredients. Ingredients are listed in order by the ingredient most preve...read morelant to least. The first ingredient is water which I am guessing is to thin it (water is not hydrating--note how chapped your skin gets from hand washing). The second most prevelant ingredient is cetearyl glucoside which is an emulsifier. An emulsifier keeps the ingredients from separating. The third most prevelant ingredient is fragrance, which I find alarming. This lotion contains more fragrance than moisturizer! It is just listed as "fragrance". It does not specify whether it is synthetic or natural--it is very vague. If it is synthetic, it is not really as natural as it touts itself to be. If it contains natural citrus oils--wow! Citrus oils are known to irritate skin and should be used sparingly if at all, mixed in with beauty products. Sure enough, it made my hands sting and turn red. Glad I did not slather it on elsewhere. I would absolutely not personally endorse it for sensitive skin, or even regular use. If you like the citrusy blood orange scent, Bliss had body butters which have great citrusy fragrance, but also moisturizers and benificial ingredients up much higher on the ingredient list.

Great Scent, Weird Texture

I bought this in Blood Orange, which smells amazing. However, this product does have a weird texture to it and I think I figured out why. While the prior reviewer noted some of the ingredients, she didn't list that it has tapioca starch in the top ingredients. This is frequently used in powders and "liquid powders", especially in replace of talc. I think this is to give it that "I can get dres...read moresed quickly" feeling however, it just feels almost "sticky" (as other reviewers have noted) but not really greasy when first dried, very strange. I do find that once you begin to move around it kind of disappears but you definitely don't feel as moisturized as other Burt's products or other products in general. Now that I've figured it out, I think I will like this in the summer when its really humid out as tapioca helps to keep that fresh and clean feeling on the skin. Hopefully it'll keep me keep perspiration under control.

Great Smell, Eh Product

I bought this because it smelled absolutely amazing, and I assumed it'd be great because it's from Burt's Bees. They usually have really good stuff, but it just makes my hands feel sticky drier.

Good moisturizer

I love the blood orange smell. It was a good moisturizer. It was thick and went on smooth for me. I have no complaints about the product. I really loved the smell.

Yum!

I received a sample of this lotion in the mail, and I loved it. It didn't feel thing and watery to me, but that might be because I find thick, creamy lotions to feel greasy. The Vanilla scent I received smelled great, and while I liked it, it isn't a product i would necessarily buy.

sticky

i do thank you for letting me try your product, i however don't like the sticky feeling that doesn't go away. The smell is very nice but not enough to deal with the oily stickiness.

Thick and not over moisturisizing

While I do love the fragrance, the lotion is thick so be careful when squeezing it out. You will be rubbing into your skin for awhile. If you have extremely dry skin, I will not recommend for you but those that have normal or slightly dry, it will make your skin feel great. Also, if you are not into fragrance, avoid this.

Not a good moisturizer

the smell is awesome and strong,but it's not that moisturizing,it's too light and feels sticky,would not recommend it for people with dry skin
