Great buy at the Dollar Tree!!
I found elf products at the Dollar Tree and am ecstatic! I only saw a couple things, but I did end up purchasing the "natural" shade of the matte lip color and another color I'll review after I try it. I absolutely love this product and am glad I got it. I paid $1, and upon opening the packaging noticed the lipstick was in a lip liner like packaging that requires you to turn it to make the lips...read moretick come out. I turned it up, and began applying to my lips. It's a creamy, soft lipstick that goes on smooth and has a gorgeous nude/pinkish color to it. It is gorgeous!! I put it on and about 2 hours later and through many kisses to my little baby boy, it's still on! I'm so happy I bought the natural and nearly nude, I foresee me loving that color just as much as this one. I have loved elf since the first time I tried their products and am very satisfied with this lip color. I always love the matte black packaging too, it gives it such a high end look! Might try a different color....
I got this in Natural and it looks way too close to my natural lip color that I could hardly tell the difference. It's not as creamy or smooth like I was hoping it would be. The color dragged and tugged on my lips but the product itself is not drying. There's also not a lot of pigmentation from the color I got. I don't reach for this often so I might return it for another color since my sister sai...read mored the color Praline is wonderful. Might give it a shot but so far, not impressed. Tugs
I have two shades and both tug and drag on my lips. They aren't creamy and kind of drying. It accentuates the fine lines on my lips. Nearly nude is like a concealer color. It's way too white. I bought this for a dollar and it was totally worth it. I love the creamy consistency of the lipstick. Dry, Miscolored, Longlasting
I bought the Rich Red thinking it would be darker but it ended up being like a cherry red. It drys out your lips & is super difficult to put on after lip balm. My favorite elf product
There isn't enough good I can say about this product. It is very affordable and the look is amazing. I have it in a very natural shade so it doesn't really look like I'm wearing anything. In comparison to other matte lipsticks I own from drugstores, it doesn't dry my lips out at all. It stays on my lips extremely well. Love!!
I have the color "tea rose" and I wear it almost everyday! It goes with most colors and it isn't a bold color so I feel comfortable wearing it to school. I use Chapstick underneath because it tends to be dry and collect in the cracks of your lips. The swatch isn't as dark as it appears on my lips but wasn't that big of a difference. Pretty nice!
I have two different colors of this product: Nearly Nude, and Rich Red. I didn't like that the red color swatch was misleading. It's a little brighter than I expected it to be, and doesn't compliment my skin tone like the actual swatch did. However, I do love that the color swatches pop off the tube to have a sharpener on the inside. I have this product in Rich Red. First off, the swatch on the bottom of the tube is completely off. I was expecting a darker red but instead this is a medium neutral red shade. Still pretty but not what I was expecting. Also I was expecting this to be matte and this is not matte. It isn't quite that shiny either but I would not classify this as matte and rather as a lipcolor with a satin finish. G...read moreranted it is very creamy and comfortable and looks good on the lips. What upsets me is the misleading appearance and claims. The color selection isn't that great either and the sharpener attached to the actual product is pretty much useless as it didn't work for me. I found this one to be too dry for a lip color. I managed to deal with the dryness of this product by applying lip balm first before applying the Matte Lip Color, that's not what I expected.
