That it makes my eyes itch is the first bad thing. It takes forever to get a decent coat. Then, it flakes later in the day. I've never had a mascara actually do that. I'm kind of surprised by all the good reviews. And I read some suggestions for application by another reviewer, so maybe that will help. But it won't prevent itching. The wand is curved and squished in 2 places. Probably the only wand in the world that looks like that & I'm not sure what the advantage of the design is.

This is the only mascara I've ever bought twice. I'm Asian, so I have some really bad eyelashes. When I first bought this it was AMAZING, it curled nicely, and it gave my lashes great volume and length. Even in the summer when it was extremely hot and humid, my mascara would not smudge I also loved that it came off in tubes. After three monthes, I bought this again and it absolutly sucked!! It definitly was not worth $25!

This is a good thickening mascara that lasts all day, but you definitely need a lash comb or dry mascara wand in between and after using this product to get the clumbs out and to separate your lashes. But the end result is really good if you're willing to work at it. It also holds curl very well.

    Review subject

This is the 2nd expensive mascara I have ever purchased. It was $30! I chose this because it is not from a big brand and was created by a Japanese woman. I expected more and to me this was not worth the hefty price tag at all. It was good, but a cheaper mascara could have done better.

It was love at first sight

Scandal Queen caught my eye from the February Sephora catalog because of its unique packaging. The curved edamame pod-like wand is something I've never seen before and so I decided to give it a try immediately. As an Asian cosmetics fanatic, I also couldn't resist trying Scandal Queen since Fairydrops is one of Japan's best selling mascaras… The packaging suggested that a lash curler more not be needed (this formula is supposed to be that curling) so I tried it out. The results were unexpectedly good, but I still prefer to use a lash curler along with mascara since I naturally have downward slanting lashes and need all the extra help I can get. Scandal Queen lengthens and defines my lashes beautifully, does not flake, and can be easily removed with lukewarm water.

    Amazing lashes!

I am very particular about my lashes and am in constant search for the perfect mascara. I think I have finally found my match made in heaven! My once average length lashes nearly touch my eyebrows now and are perfectly separated and glossy. l also love that this mascara curls my lashes. To get perfect lashes, place the wand at the base of the lashes and shimmy the wand back and forth all the way up the lashes. Pure perfection.
