hmmm

This is an ok product. It did not leave my hair feeling soft as other deep conditioners but it did smell good. I used it again with olive oil and put on my cap and let it sit for about 45 min. and it felt GREAT when i washed it out. So i would say with some tweaking it works well i will probably only use this for a "pre poo" on my natural hair.

I didn't like it as a deep conditioner but...

I'm natural and I hear everybody talk about it do I went and tired it cause I like there other products, I didn't like it for a deep conditioner it felt like it didn't do anything for my hair, so now what I do with it is I leave it in my hair and seal it in with a butter and a oil since my hair stay dry and that how it work for my hair

Didn't work for me :(

I am not african-american, my hair is not coarse or kinky at all, but I was looking for something to make my hair smoother and frizz-free in the dry, winter months. It came in a kit with some of the shea moisture shampoo. This masque made my hair feel dryer and just plain greasy, even though the label promised it would rinse out easily and would leave my hair silky and smooth. I like some of the other shea moisture products, but this one was definitely no for me

This stuff in HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!

Okay where do I begin. Its drying, it tangles your hair BADLY, it is not moisturizing AT ALL. Its VERY opposite of EVERYTHING it says on the label. I just finished washing my hair with this stuff (shampoo then conditioner of course) and I will be returning asap. I heard good ratings, but either they mixed it with other products to get it as soft as they claim, or they did something and I wish they...read more would tell me their secrets maybe I will keep it then (lol, yea right). Overall this is a total fail (for me), it might work for others but not for me. I'm african american. My hair is not kinky, I'm not natural, hair is not course or any of that other stuff.

A little drying

im african american with fine hair. i bought this product thinking that it would be moisturizing, but i was wrong. i applied this product to my damp hair and sat under a dryer. My hair came out looking almost fried, but it did stop all the hair breakage.but i had to moisturize my hair with two products to recover my hair from this masque. I wont be trying this product again anytime soon, but i did hear that it worked for many others.
