Trickier than they seem!

It could just be user error, but I couldn't seem to get these to stay put. I found them too tricky to apply, but the idea is a great one! Unfortunately, they are just collecting dust now.

need strong hairspray

This product is pretty simple to use. Just part your hair and stick the plastic piece in, then comb your hair over the top. It matches your hair color, so it blends, and it has little nubs to help it stay in place and hold your hair in place. I did not need to use any pins to keep it in place. It even comes with a little bump if you want to pull your bangs back. My only complaint is that I wore this one day and it was windy outside, and when I got inside I looked ridiculous because all of my hair had blown off of it and I just had this goofy bump on the top of my head. It was easy to fix, though. If you use this, make sure you use lots of hairspray to keep your hair over it.

I LOVE THESE THINGS!!!!!!

The first time I saw these advertised on tv, I was awestruck. Now I too could have That Girl hair! While I was ridiculed by both the husband and a friend of mine who's a hairdresser for purchasing these, I just HAD to know if they really worked. Well slap my face and call me Shirley. The teeny one doesn't really do much more than give the appearance of a little extra body, I could do without that one. The other 2 are great though. The biggest one gave me Brigitte Bardot hair! I felt so sexy that I gazed lovingly at myself in the mirror throughout the night. Now with my fine hair, I did have to do a little extra work with the (included!) comb and some hairspray to completely cover the Bumpit. It takes some practice to get just right, the first few times I tried it, the comb fell out. The video I'm attaching only shows styles where they pull the hair back to hold it in place, but I found that it stayed in for hours with only occasional adjustment without having to do that. On YouTube there are instructional videos to help you perfect your technique. For $9.99, these are definitely worth it. (Though admittedly, the commercial is a bit cheesy.....)

Returned Them

I do not think these are for those who do not have thick hair. My fine hair also didn't hold it like coarse hair would. I saw a weird triangle on my head.

All bad

Yeh simple but looks and feels terrible i bought them for 10 dollars then gave them away then i found them at the dollar store they probly didnt sell very well

Always use this for my poof!

I got these two or three yeas ago when they first came out and I'm always recommending them to peole! I am pentecostal holiness (and from Texas) and I love big hair! I use them every time I do a poof! ( at least for the back poof) I don't like it in my front poof! I like having the security of knowing my hair won't fall flat! They have trouble taking them out. I have never had that problem though. I would recommend this! Be careful when you are pulling it out,if u are like my friends, who want to yank it out!!
