No More Pores!
This is an incredible primer. It has a slight nude color, glides on smoothly, and really does hide pores and other imperfections as well as even out skin tone. Better than I expected
I love a good primer and DO NOT love the way my pores look most of the time. When this first came out I wanted to try it but I talked myself out of buying it after reading some of the reviews on Sephora. However. I recently picked up a sample that I've been using and I'm actually impressed with it. It comes out of the tube looking like it's tinted which made me nervous. I'm so fair skinned tinted ...read moreproducts often don't work well on me. But this goes on translucent and very, very smooth. I only use it on the trouble spots--forehead, nose, chin--and put it on after a moisturizer with SPF. This makes my skin look smooth and amazing. The only thing I don't love is that it doesn't control oil at all. I've used some other primers that prevented my mid-afternoon shiny forehead situation, but this one does not. Love this primer!
I have to admit that one of the biggest reasons I love Benefit products is because of the adorable packaging; I know many reviews I've read and the times I see it advertised I'm just drawn to the outside! The POREfessional by Benefit has some of the cutest packaging I've seen for primer; the top of the box opens up and has an action figure with a pore zapping ray gun (too cute) and the side explai...read morens that the primer is a dual action prime &touchy during the day which is great for me as I tend to get oily on my forehead. The side of the box says it's oil-free, lightweight, translucent, and silky- I agree with all of these claims. Upon opening the product I notice it's a squeeze down product with the POREfessional agent on it and love the color-it's like a Tiffany blue and cream color. Squeezing out the primer I notice it's like a peach color which is different than what I'm used to with primers as most tend to be a clear color but am excited to try this one; it feels super smooth on my fingertips and I pay it on exactly where the instructions say to- from the inside to the outside of my face. I dab it on my cheeks, forehead, and chin and rub all over. Than I wait a few minutes and apply the rest of my makeup; by the end of the day my makeup still looks great and my forehead isn't a shiny mess like it usually is. I really love this primer but next time I purchase it I'm going to buy the larger size if it's available. I feel like the point 75 is one is going too fast. Pretty good.....
I got a free sample of this from Ulta with my Benefit purchase. I've always wanted to try this since so many people rave about it but didn't want to pay the full price for this. My skin feels so smooth with this on. It does kinda blur out my large pores but I can't really tell compared to all the other reviews. Only use this on your problem areas and pat it into your skin, not smear it all over yo...read moreur face. It works better this way. I love how this doesn't dry out like some primers. It's not too thick or too watery and when it dries, it dries to a powdery silky perfection. This did feel a little silicone-y on me so it kind of made my makeup slip and slide all over my face since I have oily skin. Very nice
To start, I think this product is a bit pricey. That being said it does work well. It worked great for my nose and t-zone. I tend to have combination skin, but I think that for someone with oily skin, you would need something a bit more matte. Amazing!
This product is really good. I recieved a sample and it is a really good product. The full size product is actually pretty pricey, but I think it's one of those products well worth the investment. That being said, I do have huge pores, especially on the nose and cheeks area. The texture of the makeup is super, super silky and feels really good on my skin. It has a very pleasant scent that linge...read morers but nothing too overwhelming. It is lightly tinted, but it cannot replace foundation nor does it cover acne scars or other things that foundation does. This product makes my pores almost invisible! And then works perfectly even under foundation and other makeup. It is an amazing product that does what it claims, and again, the price is well worth it. Smooths skin
This isn't my favorite primer, but I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this was to use. I had tried the Smashbox primer and it really didn't work for me and since the consistency of this seemed similar, I was skeptical. Benefit's POREfessional has a lot less slip to it than the Smashbox though, making it easier to apply effectively. This doesn't do anything to brighten or even your complexio...read moren, but it smooths over your fine lines and fills in your pores, creating a nice, smooth base for your foundation. wonderful primer

Primer that actually works
Whoa. I do not wear much makeup and I do not usually rub items on my face after washing and moisturizing. I had my daughter take a small amount and put this pore-reducing cream on a particularly large pore after I washed my face and moisturized it thoroughly. The result was shocking. The pore actually shrunk! The claim was true. Now I wonder what the primer would do on the surface of an entire fac...read moree prior to makeup. Would it work for that as well? Maybe it would. I don't know. The reason for removing a couple stars has to do with my inability to answer certain questions about the cream and my lack of knowledge about how works.
