Colgate Has Saved My Teeth!
My mother took an antibiotic when she was pregnant with me and her physician assured it would do me no harm. My permanent teeth came in with very little enamel, mainly just dentin, the layer under enamel. A plethora of dentists agreed that I would lose my teeth by twenty-five and need dentures. I have brushed with Colgate religiously, as well as baking soda and peroxide to try to give them a "w...read morehiter" look before whitening products were so abundant. Love!
Before I met my now husband, this was the ONLY toothpaste I would use! I love it, it's a good, basic paste. Good flavor, nice and foamy, and it always left my mouth feeling fresh and clean for a long time after brushing. My husband thinks it leaves a slight odd after tastes, which I suppose it kind of does, but I only notice it (and just barely) now that I've been using a different brand for so long. Fresh & Clean
Colgate Total (I usually buy whitening ones) is my favorite toothpaste. I've tried Crest, Aquafresh, Arm & Hammer and so on, but Total leaves my teeth clean and my mouth a minty feeling for a long time after brushing. In fact, much longer than others. Tom's of Maine Wicked Fresh toothpaste was very nice too and I like that it has natural ingredients, but it is quite expensive. No Cavities!
My family prefers this toothpaste. It is one of the brands our dentist recommends to keep our teeth and gums healthy. Too bad
It really is too bad that this product does it's job but unfortunately contains triclosan, an anti gingivitis agent. Triclosan is under investigation by the FDA for hormone changes in users.
