did not like

I felt like this left my hair too crunchy and sticky. I really wanted to rewash my hair because I didn't like the feeling at all. I would not use again, very disappointed.

I love this gel because it works to tame my curls. The previous review mentioned that the gel does crystallize when it dries, but you can shake the hair once it dry to get rid of the slick look. I have done it and it has worked

Excellent

I love Deva and I love this product. It defines my curls without feeling crunchy. I use it after I wash my hair and the next day, my hair is frizz free and defined.

Very disappointed with the DevaCurl gels

The DevaCurl Angel and Arc Angel gels were highly recommended to me to help tame my thick, coarse, frizzy, wavy hair. Unfortunately, they didn't work, at all, except to give my hair that "wet" look. The directions say to let your hair air dry then "crunch" for soft waves and curls, but it just doesn't work. I also have used this as a styler for clients for shampoo sets, and it doesn't work for tha...read moret either. Neither gel has really any hold, and it leaves the hair sticky. At least it washes out well.

I have long, thick shoulder length hair and like to wear it curly to give my dry hair a break from blow drying. Works well to define the curls,but not effective in reducing frizz. Used in combo with Moroccan Oil and it works great!

A perfect gel!

I never liked gel in my hair before this one because they were always sticky and left my hair crunchy and wet looking. This one is absolutely not sticky at all and once it dries, you shake out your hair to release the gel cast that forms, and your curls are defined and perfect! It works for me

I use this when I want a natural but better look. I have wavy hair and this helps my waves look like curls. It smells good and once it dries you can't feel the product in your hair as long as you don't over due it. It is a bit pricey but it lasts a very very long time because a little goes along way. It works for my hair : )
