This product leaves your hair soft and shiny - there is absolutely 0 stiffness from this product yet there is a sort of hold. Also, you cant really overdo this product. You dont NEED a lot, but if you accidentally put too much in your hair it is VERY forgiving...even near the roots. That's one of my favorite things about this mousse. Oh and as an added bonus it smells absolutely fantastic...even if Im in a bar or club, guys always notice how great and clean this smells. Definitely protects your hair from smelly places. You've got to try this!

Very Effective
This mousse truly did make my fine hair feel thicker, while making it more manageable. It didn't leave my hair stiff or sticky in any way, and the volume lasted for most of the day. I've tried most drugstore volumizing mousses, so I can say from experience that this is one of the best! best mousse so far
I have really fine, pretty straight hair that's really easily weighed down, and while not perfect, this mousse is the best I've tried. It does add volume to my hair and keeps it there for a long time, just as long as I don't use too much. Works and is Cheap
This Mousse adds lots of volume. It is doesn't really have a noticeable perfume -y smell, just apply and style. Does not leave hair sticky at all. Magnificent Mousse
This stuff is the bomb-really GREAT styling tool. Gives your hair structure after you wash it so you can do what you want to with it. It has hold and adds body but not too stiff. It does not feel too heavy or make your hair feel heavy-you can still run your hands through it but it has hold when you do that. Change in product formula ruined a great mousse.
I had been a faithful John Frieda Volumizing Mousse user for years - recommending it to family and friends. A recent change in both packaging and product formula has absolutely RUINED a once great product. Instead of full thick hair, this product now produces slippery, thin hair. The new formula leaves my hair shapeless and flat with no body whatsoever. John Frieda - have you never heard the old adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"? This mousse definitely gives hair volume, styled or not! In fact, this mousse works so well, I had to rethink at times if I really wanted my hair that poofy, because it really did that to my hair!!! FINALLY!!!!
