Great frizz fighter.

I like this product well enough. It does fight frizz really well, even in the Florida humidity. It smooths nicely and makes my hair really shiny. However, it's unlikely that it improves hair over time because there's a very small amount of argan oil in it and because it's mostly silicone, the oil doesn't penetrate the hair shaft. I prefer to use pure argan oil on the ends, just a few drops on ...read moreclean damp hair, and then I use a silicone serum, Got2b Shine Serum, on top for shine and heat protection. The oil doesn't provide thermal protection on its own, but it does treat and prevent dryness really well. This Moroccanoil treatment does do it's job well and if you prefer to spend big bucks, who am I to argue? But you can buy pure organic argan oil on Amazon for $10-$14 for a 4 ounce bottle and Got2b Shine Serum is $5ish at drugstores everywhere. I was curious about MO so I had to see what all the hype was about. It's a good product, no doubt about it. But it's had no effect on my dry ends so I won't repurchase it. Still, I'm giving it a high rating because it definitely works. If you prefer to spend more money, then by all means use it. I, however, prefer to have hydrated hair so I'll stick to my argan oil silicone serum routine.

Ok but too expensive

There are other moroccan oils on the market that are a lot less expensive and work just as well. I do not think the price is justified, even though it does help with frizz and dryness.

amazing, very well worth the splurge!

I purchased this product about 3 years ago on a whim during a salon visit. I did not really start using this product consistently a year after and it has made a noticeable difference on my hair, I would rub this product onto my hair as soon as I was done washing it ( a little goes a long way) and didn't need anything else. I ran out and I have not been able to afford it, in which I purchased a similar drugstore product AND IT IS NOT THE SAME. If you're considering whether to try it, I suggest their travel size version which is a lot less.

Moroccan oil

This oil is amazing! I love love love the yummy scent, it makes my hair so soft. I always buy the large bottle. It lasts so long.

BEST De-Frizz Product

I have very dry, curly hair that gets very frizzy if I let it air dry, even if I use my detangling spray. What a difference this Moroccan Oil makes! My hair is soooo soft and smooth when I put the oil in my hair, I can't stop running my hands through it! my favorite hair product

My hair dresser initially recommended this to me, and I will never regret spending the money on this product. It is no doubt worth the cost. I have very fine, curly, frizz prone hair, and Moroccan Oil helps tame it. This is the only product I use, and it helps define the curls, and adds strength. A little goes a long, long way, so even thought the bottle is small, it lasts a while. Even though it is an oil, it doesn't make your hair feel greasy or oily at all, just soft!! My hair was very damaged and dry before, because of heat treatments. I would flat iron my hair every day, simply because I couldn't find a product that could tame my natural curls. Moroccan Oil helped reverse A LOT of the damage, AND helped me stop relying on curling irons. If you're trying to decide whether to spend the money or not, let me just flat out tell you YES it will quickly become your favorite product.

Best Thing Ever!!!

I may be a newbie, but i truly know to good and the bad of this product! Also, let me just say that my friends and family and I have been using this forever, as far as i can remember, this is the one we always use! I first got introduced to this when I was at a hair salon and they said my hair was dull, dry and seriously in need for more oils. Let me just say, my hair was at a horrible state, and ...read moreit needed to be revived! Then my hair salon recommeneded MoroccanOil. He told me wonderful, and amazing Moroccan Oil can do to your hair! At first, I wasn't so sure I wanted to put oil in my hair because I've heard it can make your hair very and extremely flat. And actually, it didn't make my hair flat. So finally, after I got my hair cut, he washed it again and halfway into drying my hair, he put in moroccan oil and, God, let me just say, the smell! It's just so heavenly, I could actually fall in love with it! Finally after my hair was done, it was smooth, soft, it was the best thing ever! And also, it lasts (for me) to at least 4 days. Second day hair is actually the best after you brush it out. By the way, to apply this to your hair..this is how I do it: 1. Wash you hair 2. Blow dry your hair until it is halfway dry or damp 3. Pump ( one pump or as much pumps you need depending on your hair length) 4. Then mix in in your hands then throughly rub it all over your hair very throughly from half your hair down! Tip: dont get it on your scalp!!! It will just make it appear greasy ***So the bottom line is that: 1. It smells amazing, really! It smells sooooooo goooddd! 2. It lasts for at least 4 days! Which is very good, awesome actually!!! 3. Makes your hair feel very light! 4. Makes your hair smooth, soft and silky 5. It really keeps your hair in excellent condition The downside: It is a little pricey, but don't let that stop you! This is truly worth the investment!!!
