oh no!

i bought this nyx eyeliner because i heard good things about it and i've always wanted to try a nyx eyeliner...but NO! this eyeliner was pigmented, very black, and applied smooth, but that's where the good things about this stops. it smudges easily and makes me look racoon-y not too long after i've applied it. it doesn't stay on my waterline at all! i don't even have to yawn or get teary-eyed for ...read morethis liner to smudge. on a hot day, this liner smudges and starts to transfer to my under-eyes, exaggerating my under eye circles. i would never buy this again. it was really messy.

Good!

The actual makeup portion is a little hard, so I have to press a little harder. I have this one in a gold-ish shade, and it is really a nice color. I like it, good not great, but it's great for the price. I get lots of compliments on the color, people say it really makes my eyes pop out (I have brown eyes). Would I recommend? Sure!

Ehh

I bought 8 colors. It went on creamy but it doesn't stay for long. It tends to smudge. If you want an eyeliner that doesn't smudge as easy, I recommend Styli-Style.

Wide Range of Colors, Affordable, Pleasantly Surprised

I haven't really tried many NYX products, but I've heard some really great things about the brand. So the first time I saw a NYX display, I picked up two of their Slim Eye Pencils in a shimmery, forest green; a glittery sky blue; and a glittery silver (yes, I know, I sound crazy, but jewel tones and pastels actually look great with my deep brown, wide eyes). First off, let me state that the price ...read moreis amazing! I got three of these for a good deal (buy two get one free), but even at a normal price, these pencils are only $3.50 to $4.00 a piece. Also, there is a huge selection of colors! Since it's so affordable, I was really tempted to buy more. But a product isn't worth a cent if it doesn't perform well, so onto the review! The pencil will stay sharp a long time and is packaged really nicely (elegant black with white lettering, and the color of the pencil can be seen at the bottom, making this easy to grab in a cluttered makeup drawer). It glided on smoothly onto both my lower and upper eyelids and waterlines, and the pigmentation was excellent. For the most part, the color was true to the color shown on the packaging. (Just a note that the silver is actually a lot lighter than it looks on the pencil and the packaging, so I really had to layer the pencil on to get the desired color. Just a note, not really a big deal.) The lasting power of this liner was impressive when I used it without a primer on my lower lid, but on my upper lid, it would crease or disappear without primer (in maybe about four hours). I used a good primer with it, and that extended the wear to maybe about ten hours or so. Overall, I liked these pencils! I will be buying them again, not only because I am tempted by all of the pretty colors, but because of the affordability, wear (with primer, of course), ease of application, and formula.

Too hard.

I bought the white pencil to line inside of my eyes at the water line. However this pencil was so hard, it scratched the gentle skin without any payoff of the color. I had to return it and exchange it for the Jumbo pencil which is much softer with very high payoff. I don't know why jumbo eyeshadow stick isn't listed in this site...

FINALLY!!

I FINALLY found an eyeliner that I could use on my waterline without irritating it or having it slide into the corners of my eyes! I purchased Teal, Electric Blue & Seafoam Green - colors that compliment my grey/blue/green eyes. I wore the Blue yesterday and the first thing my girlfriend said to me is that my eyes looked awesome and they "popped". With past eyeliners used in my waterline, I would get a mild headache - not these. For me they're almost like a Kohl eyeliner! I LOVE THEM! Going back for some more soon! GREAT PRODUCT

I bought this eye pencil in White and really loved how easy it was to apply and how long it lasted without budging. The color glided onto my eye and really made them pop. These pencils come in a wide array of colors so you can easily find one that suites your look. And for $3.49, how can you say no?!

Did not like as eyeliner, was okay as a brow liner

I used this as eyeliner on both my upper lashline and on my waterlines. It was terrible. It went on smoothly enough, but it disappeared after an hour, leaving me with dark areas around my eyes, but no line. On my eyebrows, it was alright... it didn't blend in incredibly easily and it did fade a bit throughout the day, but at least it didn't run out of my eyebrows. Would not recommend.

Not very long wearing

I have a few of these and I like the colour range. I jut wish they performed better, they aren't long lasting at all. I like the variety: there are many colours to choose from and some shades are pearly, while others are creamy. I recommend the lighter/brighter colours, they tend to wear better, specially on the inner corners.

Creamy and Easy to Use

I have the eyeliner in a dark brown color. I have hazel/brown eyes, and this eyeliner has such a nice shade of brown that it makes my eyes stand out even though it is kind of matchy-matchy. One swipe and I had a creamy line that did smudge easily, but only when I wanted it too. Plus, since it was brown, any accidental smudging gave my eyes a sultry look that blended well with the rest of many of m...read morey makeup looks. I really liked it and it was really cheap. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 9 is that it wears flat quickly, and you have to sharpen it often. When you initially sharpen it, it hurts to use on your eye, but when it gets too flat after a few uses, you have to push hard and that hurts too. As long as your careful about how hard you press, it is easy and wonderful to use.
