Deluxe Gloss, Amazing Colors
This great, soft, ultra-shiny gloss comes in numerous shades, from sheer finishes to those with glimmer (one of the ones I own is "Gold Mauve," a rose with tiny gold flecks). The colors range from sedate to outrageous. There is never a tacky or sticky feel, just comfort on your lips. For $5.00, I'd like to collect them all. It is scented, but it doesn't bother me. I wanted to like these...
but I couldn't get over the cherry scent! I have two, and both are lovely colors, nicely pigmented, not sticky at all, and decent length of wear. And they're reasonably priced. Super pigmented if that's what you like...
Unlike the other reviewers I actually liked the cherry scent. These are super shiny and super pigmented if that's what you're aiming for. These colors looked way too artificial on me though so I returned it. mixed feelings
This gloss is alright, but I have mixed feelings about it. I got 2 colors - Nude Peach and Beige. I like Beige a lot- nice shade, goes on smooth, not sticky, has nice finish. Nude Peach on the other hand is pretty terrible. It goes on in clumps, the color is uneven, and is overall blah, not even shiny. The package is not too great, the gloss keeps getting out of the tube, and onto everything. It's the cherry on top
This gloss is cherry scented. I bought copper penny on sale for a couple of dollars--it is a shiny, winy mauve--very pretty. It does not irritate my lips, is highly pigmented, has staying power for a gloss, is slick not sticky, moisturizing, and a bargain. I do not care for it over lipstick because then it bleeds into the tiny lines around my mouth. If you like the color, buy a bunch. The bad thing, it was hard to find one that hadn't been opened and tried on already at the store--yuck!!! THE SMELL IS TERRIBLE
I really thought that these would be a great buy, they have a lot of product in the tube for the price. They DO have lovely colors, BUT THE SMELL..... irritates me so that I won't repurchase this. Unreal & Exciting!
I LOVE THIS LIP GLOSS! For around $3.99 it's awesome! It out performs MAC by a mile. I use it over NYX Thalia lipstick and it's the perfect nude lipcolor. This gloss is also beautiful alone! Love these glosses
I'm not such a huge gloss wearer anymore now that I am married(the husband doesn't like slippery kisses)but, when I do wear gloss these are the ones I reach for. These glosses are so affordable. I get mine on cherryculture(dot)com and they are even cheaper there since they are often discounted and they offer free shipping on larger orders. I like how they are very comfortable to wear(not sticky at...read more ALL). They even wear off nicely after a few hours without leaving that weird ring around the inside of your lips or just wearing off in the corners. They don't feather at all but they are nice and hydrating and moisturizing. They are great on their own or to top off a lipstick or liner. I find that the opacity is a bit inconsistent but I even like that because some days I want a sheer gloss and other days I want an opaque shine over a bold lip color. And, these are very versatile in that way. Their shade range is very extensive. You can get everything from hot pink and orange to black and plain old clear. Their shimmer is fine and not gritty on the lips as some other brands can be. There are some purely cream shades too. The only thing that puts me off is that they have a strong lingering scent of cherry(and I don't like cherry)but some people like that scent. The doe foot applicator is bent back a little and longer than usual which makes application a cinch. These are super creamy and feel very luxurious on the lips. I can definitely get past the smell for the quality of this product. I just wish that they were sold in more drugstores in the states. I'll have to place another order soon. NYX Lip Gloss Mega Shine
The past two weeks I've bought a ton of NYX products, mainly lip butter and glosses. I really do like the pigment they give the only thing I didn't like was that some of them had a weird smell to it, the others did not. Like I said in my last review it could be a hit or miss. They are a little sticky, but for the price you can't beat it. I just purchased the NYX lip primer and use it under the glosses or lipsticks I bought. It Really brings out the pigment more bold and helps with bleeding. It's really gorgeous by itself, at night I use the NYX lip liners under it and love it. It's not the most shiny gloss but comes in a plethora of colors and the price is right. I don't know if anyone has done this before, I'm guessing only me and my goofy ideas. I cleaned the tip with rubbing alcohol and as crazy as this sounds put rubbing alcohol inside the tube, let it sit for about 30 seconds and dumped it out.
