Extra Body Daily Shampoo

I was able to purchase a super jumbo size duo of the Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Shampoo and Rinse for $30. My 15 year old daughter has overdyed hair to her shoulders and my 16 year old son has a buzz cut and they both really like this set. You do need to wash twice to get the cleanest hair, but it really works well. Her hair is always soft. I don't know if it adds extra body, but it is a great shampoo regardless.

Great volume!

I love Paul Mitchell products and have really started purchasing other ones in the line to fall in love with them and review them. It has such a soft, relaxing smell but I have no idea what the notes are but it's so calming for me; I used a quarter size dollop for my hair and washed my hair as I usually do from scalp to mid shaft and let the water rinse it out to my ends. After styling my hair I noticed my hair felt fuller and thicker and I almost felt like it was too much. It really does give me a lot of volume! I am only going to wash my hair with this shampoo when I go out that night or following day because I would not want that amount of thickness for the low buns I have to have for work everyday. I purchased this in the travel size that's under $4 to make sure I would love it before I committed to the big size but as soon as I run out of it I'll be purchasing the regular size and keep refilling my travel size. I don't think I'll ever be disappointed with any Paul Mitchell product; they all smell great, are well priced, and do what they say. The bottle says "...super body-builder.." and that's EXACTLY what it is! Great job Paul Mitchell!

I love love this shampoo

I tried dozens and dozens of shampoos high end and cheap and could never find the perfect shampoo. I am always disappointed and probably have hundreds of dollars worth of liters in ,my closet. I got this in a 420 gift set of shampoo and conditioner with root spray. I do not notice volume for my hair is very long but my hair looks and feels healthy. My big thing is I am scent sensitive. This is gentle and low lather. I plan to get big liter bottles in the future and stop buying other brands

So-So

I graduated from Paul Mitchell the School, so I had the opportunity of playing with all their products and goodies. I have super fine hair and it was really no body whatsoever. This product did make my hair feel thicker and look a bit fuller, especially when paired with the extra body collection. But overall it is a pretty good product, I have used it many times on other clients and they all fell in love with the line!

Great shampoo!

My aunt bought me a small bottle of both the shampoo and conditioner, as well as the volumizing spray from ulta. I've had the stuff for a few months now and I've rarely used it. I've only used it for special occasions and I have to say it does make my hair shinier and bouncier. I didn't like the scent at first but it grew on me. I use the shampoo and conditioner more often than the volumizing spra...read morey, which I've used only once. The only thing I don't like about this is the ability to lather. You have to use a buttload of 'poo just to geta decent lather.

where has this been all my life

I adore using this paul mitchell product. I have fine long straight hair and this product builds great volume in my hair. Getting out of the show and running my fingers through my hair, i can instantly feel more body :) The product is a bit expensive (but worth it) so I recommend trying a sample first. The scent is pretty nice too.

smells good

price is great but not the best at adding volume. Does add some volume but i really like the smell. Could lather more. I like those bubbles.

Not impressed

Every time I use this line my hair feels like straw. I have straight, fine hair and this was recommended to me, however, I prefer the Redkin Volume set better.

Great stuff!!

I have tried every possible kind of shampoo so my hair wasn't flat...this stuff is like gold. I love it! It smells wonderful and really does add body to your hair. I also use the daily rinse and volumizing foam.
