AH-Veeno Lotion . . .
I am beyond fickle. Not only are my bedroom and bathroom overflowing with cosmetics, but shelves and containers handle an overabundance of hand and body lotions as well. I will admit that I am drawn to items with a unique quality--take, for instance, FarmHouse Fresh's "Whoopie!" cream in a glass jar. Why? Moreover, it ...read moresmells like both cake AND icing--I still can't conceive how they concocted a scent to imitate both so truly. (And I don't know whether to eat it or wear it!). It's a definite splurge at $30.00. Aveeno is far more affordable (about $10.00), and it has two KEY ingredients which make it a staple--it has Colloidal Oatmeal to comfort dry, itching skin. Most importantly, Aveeno has a patented "Active Photobarrier Complex," a 24-hour sunscreen to protect against damaging UVA and UVB rays, both during the summer and winter. It is not extremely moisturizing, and my skin drinks it in immediately. I reapply as needed. While I may stray now and then, I know what products are truly good for skin in the long run. A Really Good Moisturizer
I live in the desert, which is very dry and hot. I needed a deeply penetrating lotion so I wouldn't look like a lizard. I have used other Aveeno products, and I decided to try this. This best feature I like is that it absorbs right away. It is not greasy (I hate feeling slippery), and smells very fresh. I layer this with my Juicy Couture Peace Love and Juicy Couture Body Creme, or another nic...read moree cream with a good fragrance because the underlying Aveeno is the work horse, and the other layer adds fragrance and additional moisturization. Not for me

Nice
I've had problems with Eczema in the past, but also I live in hot and extremely dry Arizona. This keeps my skin hydrated with daily use. I like that it's not too thick and it absorbs well. Fantastic
Since I was little I had really bad/dry skin on my arm fold, I used to have bad rashes. I had to have a forty dollar out of the country cream to treat it, and if I stopped using the cream it would go back to rash-ville. I tried other "moisturizing" lotions before and they did work.. for the first two weeks after that again with the same problem. Then Aveeno came into my life and I was darn happy! ...read moremy rashes/dryness is gone which means no more itching! I also used to get really flaky white all over my face when winter hit every time, and after wearing Aveeno for a month my face was smooth and flake-free! Aveeno skin products are my favorite, and this is no exception. I use it everyday. I love the fact that it has SPF, but obviously if you are going to be out in the sun for an extended period of time, you have to use regular sunscreen as well. This lotion is a staple for me! My hubby turned me onto it a few years back and even though I've tried other lotions, I keep coming back to this one! It retains its moisture without leaving you greasy, slimy or slippery. I get really dry skin during the winter months and this is my savior. It works wonders. I also like the fact it really don't have a smell so it doesn't "interrupt" with my perfume or body spray. A little goes a long way and when I run out of facial moisturizer; I use this in the interim. The price point is perfect that delivers so many pluses. I researched a lot of moisturizers commonly available and this one was the clear winner if you are looking for a combination moisturizer/sunscreen. If you're going to the beach, this is not the product you want... stick with a full 30+ SPF sunscreen. But if you use a moisturizer daily and also want to protect yourself from the incidental sun exposure we all get throughout a normal day (driving around town, walking through the parking lot or builiding to building, eating lunch outside, etc.), then this is what you want: moisturizing, non-greasy, moderate SPF, and non-fragrance. I like the feel of this over Lubriderm SPF lotion. I think it moisturizes better and feels better on my skin. I used Lubriderm for a long time because no one else had an SPF lotion, but I am glad I tried this one. Works well, although I don't like that it doesn't seem to have much UVA protection. I like this product very much. It is very gentle, doesn't sting like other sunscreens. It is a bit thick and takes some rubbing to get it to soak in, but it doesn't have that sticky feel of waterproof sunblock. Great for any day you aren't going swimming. Since I'd never used any Aveeno lotions before I wasn't too sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at the light scent the lotion has. Also I liked that it had, what I thought, a nice beach type smell to it. You will love the way it makes your skin feel and the fact that you also have sunscreen on also which will help protect from some of the sun's harmful rays. I have finally found a sunscreen moisturizer that really works and has UVA and UVB. I have been using Aveeno products for years. You will love how your face and hands feel!! I love this lotion. I've even tried other Aveeno varieties before that I liked, but this one is the best. It has healed an eczema-like rash that I get when I consume gluten or alcohol (had wine last night...today? no rash!). It provides great, long-lasting moisture, too. I shower at night after the gym and again in the morning before work. I only put the lotion on at night, but my skin still feels...read more well moisturized, even after my morning shower. I haven't noticed any scent to it at all (the bottle is labeled "fragrance free"). I keep a small bottle at my desk for use during the day, too. amazing!

A OK.....
I've decided to use up the whole bottle just to see my thoughts on it. After using this for a month, I have come to a conclusion. It is pretty moisturizing without leaving my skin feeling too greasy. It also absorbs pretty fast. I was hoping this lotion would clear up my PUPPS from my pregnancy but it didn't do anything to improve it except for making my skin feel more moisturized. Because I've been using Aveeno products so much, I think I've just gotten used to it that I don't notice the scent anymore. It just smells like the natural signature Aveeno scent that's pretty much in all their products. Well, at least this product didn't make my rash worse. I don't love it or hate it. A Classic!
