I'm not the sort to buy any shampoo over $15 as I have never seen the slightest difference in my hair from expensive shampoos to Suave brand, etc. I really like these Herbal Essence shampoo (and conditioners) as they smell good, leave my hair clean and not weighed down and are very affordable. simple as that!This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Didn't Work For Me
My hair is generally straight but it has a few waves that kick out at the end that bother me. This product doesn't really seem to help with the problem. Maybe it's because I have really thick hair? I always end up straightening the ends when I want that sleek look. It doesn't really lather the way I'd like it to either. I hate it.

Smells good, but no straightening
This shampoo smells way good, along with all the other herbal essence products. I have wavy, thick hair and was hoping that maybe this shampoo would make it somewhat easier to straighten or maybe even straighten it after blow dyring. But it didn't do anything for my hair straightening wise. It does clean your hair and leave it soft and silky. A nice sleek horse's tail :p
I have extremely thick heavy hair that tends to frizz out sometimes and go all wavy (not sexy wavy either, dumb wavy) so I've been using this product along with the conditioner to keep my hair sleek, soft and not as wild. If left untreated with conditioners, etc. my hair is literally the thickness and weight of a horse's tail so this product is fantastic. And it smells really nice too! Not too Shabby
I really enjoy this shampoo. The longest I ever use the same shampoo is usually around a month or two, but this stuff... I've been hooked on for almost a year! I do have to say although I have naturally dry hair, it is pretty easy to over condition when using this product. I like the conditioner as well, but when I use them together I have to use a clarifying shampoo about once a week. Eh...
I don't think this showed much in straightness. My hair is relatively hard to straighten and smooth out. But this didn't improve on anything I could see or feel. The one thing I enjoyed was the scent! It blew me away, I could just smell my hair for hours! Also, once I was sweating a lot and I got my hair wet again I could smell the shampoo even more.
