Vaseline, Take a Bow!
There are few things which can't be remedied by Vaseline. Yes, using it as a moisturizer can be a tad messy but leaves you absolutely glowing. The price is also something deserving raves....read more ADDENDUM FEBRUARY 2014: With this winter being extremely blustery, bitterly cold, and windy, my skin has suffered. Enter Total Beauty, with an amazing kit of Vaseline and other products. What I did not realize how I had been under-using Vaseline. It works like magic on rough, flaky lips and stays on all day or night long (too many lip moisturizers literally fade away, but not this). I've mixed with the coarse sea salt I received for dreamy exfoliation (and followed with the included gloves and super-soft, cushy socks). A new use for me was to mix with sugar for a scrub that deep-cleans pores while treating skin with ultimately gentleness, ridding it of dead cells. I lost the chafing and blisters I would somehow experience by applying before running and working out. My cuticles are no longer a problem when I regularly include Vaseline in my manicure and massage into nails and cuticles. Finally, one of my beauty secrets has always been to dot a bit of Vaseline above my pupils to make my eyes glow and mix with blush for a completely natural, radiant blush. Never been a huge fan of Vaseline until I did the road test I recently received from Totalbeauty. There are so many different way you can use it. Convenient, Cheap, and Versatile!
I absolutely love Vaseline, there are so many uses. I usually just slather some on my lips before bed and wake up with beautiful, soft lips. You just put some on your feet, throw on some nice socks, and wake up with soft feet! I have two tubs of Vaseline, original and the cocoa butter. I personally like the cocoa butter formula better since it has a nice scent, but if you don't want any kind of scented product, go for the original, it works just as well. Vaseline and petroleum jelly in general have a plethora of uses, and it is something almost everybody should have in their home. Every home should have some :)
Good for just about any skin ailment! I've used it in my nose when I was on accutane and my nose was so dry it was constantly bloody. Good on lips and hands too. too shiny
it moisturizes and prevents chaffing and dryness. i like it because its a good moisturizer thats lasts all day. i can even use it as a lipgloss. but that is also a problem becuase its really shiny and sometimes it lasts so long that when i washed my hands and i had this on, the water slided right off my palm. its a bit sticky and shiny. great moisturizer thoughThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 15 people said helpful

Love vaseline-great for so many uses!
Vaseline is great for so many uses, every home should have a jar of this. I use it around my hairline when dying my hair and I put it along the inside of my nose when it gets super dry in the winter or when I'm getting frequent nose bleeds. Excellent multitasker
Who DOESN'T love Vaseline brand petroleum jelly? I use this product for soo many things. I don't really need to describe the texture as I'm assuming most of you have touched it but it's soft, non greasy, and gentle. I have severe allergies and have never had any issue with the smell or product. I use this for my son during his changes to create a barrier on his skin to prevent rashes and he ne...read morever has any issues with breaking out or redness. This is a cheap, excellent lip protectant and if my lips are severely chapped, a little on top and bottle puts moisture back into my lips. Sometimes I take a tiny amount and rub into my hands to trap moisture as well. If I have a large amount of eye makeup on, I take a small amount and put it on a cotton ball and it gently takes off the makeup. Even though times when I've accidentally gotten it into my eyes, there is no burning. On the flip side, whenever I wear heavy black eyeshadow on my lids, I take a small amount of Vaseline and coat it over the shadow for a dramatic, night time look. I learned this tip from beauty magazines and have received so many compliments..It's awesome. Vaseline is about $4 give or take, so you really get a great deal for this gentle multitasker. Great beauty tool and great for homemade treatments
I think of this as a beauty tool rather than product. It is great for fixing any dry spots. I slather it on my feet at night and put on socks and wake up to soft smooth skin. It is great as a lip balm and when I wore braces as a life saver on sore spots on my lips and mouth. This also works really well to mix with other products to create beauty treatments. I have used this as a base for both sugar and salt scrubs and much prefer it to buying those in store.
