Crystal Clear
Even though I've never personally noticed a color change with hair spray, I do use this occasionally when I'm blonde. Holds well and adds shine
This hairspray holds my style all day without stiffness, buildup or flaking. It also protects my color with its UV filters, which keeps it from fading. It has medium hold, so it's good for updos too. It also smells nice, which is unusual for a hairspray. I don't use it as a flexible hold product because it's a little stiff for that, but it has strong hold that keeps my flyaways in check. I'm usually right in step with Total Beauty recommendations, but I have to fall out of place on this one. I will give JF a break though, because I bought it from the sale shelf at my grocery store and the price was good. It did not at all perform they way I expected. I shook it well, but it came out not as a fine mist, but in thick uneven sprays. I was so glad I did not put it over my whole he...read moread. It had a very unpleasant acetone scent and trying to wash it out was a nightmare. Immediately after applying my hair was clumpy, oily and sticky. Obviously others have had good experiences with this one, but for now I'll stick with what I have in my cabinet. Fabulous hair spray. While it is all around great the number one reason I believe that this hairspray is the best is other sprays left my naturally blonde hair a weird yellow color. John Frieda Sheer Blonde Crystal Clear Hairspray leaves my hair bright and fresh and this is important for a woman sixty-nine years old. John Frieda Sheer Blond Crystal Clear Hairspray
Have used this hair spray for years. Does not build up and leaves hair shiny with no build up . Very affordable, although our local Wal Mart stopped carrying it. Have to get it at the local drug stores or Kroger and of course they charge more.
