    chalky :(

Former user of neutrogena's shine control pressed powder (which I still love) and decided to try this in translucent for the mattifying effect (I have combination skin). I found this to be extremely chalky no matter how lightly I applied it. The powder kicked up easily also, I preferred Rimmel's cheaper, stay matte powder over this. Neutrogena wins for the most fine powder for a natural mattifying effect, overall.

    Good, but not for everything

I have this powder in translucent and medium deep. I bought the translucent to use as a finishing powder, but ended up loving it to seal my lipstick. I blot my first coat, pat on the translucent powder, add another coat of lipstick, and it looks better and lasts longer than ever before. The darker powder, I use for contouring. It isn't quite as dark as it looks in the container, so you may want to...read more go a shade darker than you think you should, but it does the job and stays there all day. I usually put it under my cheekbones, along the jawline, and on the sides of my nose. Basically, this powder is a bit too cakey for use on your entire face, but for spot application, like lips and contouring, it is great.

    Great for oily skin!

This is an amazing setting powder for oily ppl! It is very light(feels like nothing on your skin), and it keeps skin matte! Wear over liquid or powder foundation and it will keep the oils at bay. When you want to touch up, it does not look cakey no matter how much you pack on. It has no coverage so it is best used as a setting powder.

Tends to look a little chalky

I like the coverage of this powder but I always spray with a setting spray (MAC fix or ELF setting spray) to tone down the powdery look on my face. I blend this out with a kabuki & it looks pretty good.

    Horrible

First off, there are not nearly enough color choices. I am very light, and the lightest color made me look like a ghost and the next lightest was far too dark for me. Then there was the powder itself. It was horribly cakey, and it felt like I was rubbing chalk on my face.
