Fekkai

Fekkai underperforms for its price point. This mask was OK, but Aphogee makes an excellent protein mask for a fraction of the price.

Great treatment

I did notice a difference in the softness and shine in my hair the first time that I used it. I think that it is a little bit on the pricier side, but the scent makes it so worth it! I'm such a sucker for a yummy scent. I had tangle free locks after 20 minutes of this being on.

I consider this a light protein treatment, but it still works wonderfully. It gives my curls good bounce and shine and smells good to my nose. I just scoop a small amount and let it marinate in my hair while I'm in the shower for ten minutes to fifteen minutes, rinse out, and style as usual. It seems to work better with heat though. Disappointed

After picking this up from the drugstore I expected it to be really amazing, since I've had such good experiences with other Fekkai products. But this deep conditioner is nothing special. It did leave my hair soft and smooth but only for a day or two, nothing that had a lasting effect. If you're looking for a really great deep conditioner, try the Macadamia collection.

Great hair mask!

Used this a while ago but I looooved it! Repurchased over and over! Only stopped buying it because you have to shop where his products are, and I was lazy. Lol I used this once a week or once every two weeks at night then let my hair air-dry. The next day, my hair was soft, shiny and frizz free-- shocking for me since I let it air-dry. Smells kinda like milk of I remember correctly; lite, sweet scent. Only real negative is the price. Container lasts a long time only needs small amount; just don't use too much or will make hair GREASY! Actually took me a while to figure out the perfect amount to use on my hair.

I bought this product because I recently got highlights (my hair is pretty healthy since prior to this I hadn't done anything to my hair other than a demi-permanent single color process in the last year) and I was afraid that my hair would dry up. It works well, leaving my hair soft and shiny, but my hair was that way before too so I'm not sure whether that's due to the mask or not. I have noticed...read more, however, that my hair holds on to moisture more now (it takes longer for it to air dry). I use the mask twice a week, when I wash my hair (I only wash it every 3-4 days).

Not so awesome

Well, I ran out of my Real Control mask from Redken and I was willing to try Fekkai cause I know he is the best, and I've just used it like 4 times and haven't seen much change. It smells good, texture is good. A little think for my taste but when applied on damp hair it feels pretty much like any other mask. When I rinse my hair I feel it soft but not as with the Redken mask, and when my hair is ...read moredry again I barely can see the difference. I suppose it is because it rebuilds your hair from the inside and that's why I haven't seen the espectacular results yet. In the other hand, I got a sample of the 3 minutes Technician Color mask (also from Fekkai) and since the very first time my hair felt silky soft. I have curly hair and my curls were awesome after I showered. Also I got a sample of the glossing cream and OMGsh!! that product totally rocks!!.. so I'm gonna keep on using the protein rx just cause it was expensive and I think it will make no harm to may hair, but definitely will purchase the 3 minute mask next time. If you can ask for a sample, go get'em. as well as the glossing cream. That I will also is a new basic for me and I have had it only for 2 weeks!!!
